This is a great local family restaurant, bar and grill. Several beers on tap and many more in cans and bottles. I sat at the bar and received quick service from the bartender. I got the steak and mashed potatoes with a side caesar salad.

Had dinner with my family.. Food was good.. Upon leaving, told the server she should smile more, and she said that was rude and told us never to come back..??? What’s up with that? Will not be returning. Kinda sucks because we liked going there.

Good friendly service. Place is clean. Ladies bathroom is large and handicap enabled. Ordered cod fish sandwich w/tots and chicken sandwich w/fries. The potatoes were crispy. Both the chicken and cod were crispy outside and moist inside. I ordered extra pickles for my cod and boy did they deliver!!! Will definitely come here again.

This is a must visit if you are ever near Buckley! Great bar vibes, decent beers on tap fun drink menu and best of all damn tasty food. Got the wings , southwest chicken salad, spicy teriyaki burger, French dip, the classic bootlegger burger and those hand cut french fries. Burger patties are made from the butcher across the street!! Everything was super good. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back

Update 11/6/22:
Really hate to say this but I can’t fully recommend this place anymore. Food is almost always good and the staff is nice but the service very is inconsistent. Food might come out in a reasonable amount of time or take over half an hour. Most likely do to staffing issues. But in the end you still need to put out a good product. Good food but proceed at your own risk.
Update 9/21/2022:
Stopped in for lunch and got the special, clucking parmesan sandwich. Wow, it was a big sandwich. The bun was soft and flaky, like a good French dip bun. Plenty of crispy chicken bites smothered in marinara and parmesan cheese. More than enough to share. But to be fair, the homemade fries were a little off today. Seemed a bit tough and chewy, maybe old oil. All in all still a good trip!

Fries are worth the trip alone! Family dining until 9pm. Rather loud atmosphere, which was fine for me with my two young boys. Service was just a bit long between visits but it was around 6pm on a Friday night so that’s to be expected. Kid’s meals were $5.99 with a main dish, fries, an Apple sauce, and a drink. Most regular dinner entrees/burgers were in the $10-$15 range. Got the chicken fried steak for $12 and it came with a rather large side salad that I split with my two little ones. All of the food was good. Staff was friendly. Like I said at the beginning, it is a bit loud but that’s because it’s a big bar that serves families until 9pm. Can definitely see myself coming back here. Btw when we were leaving, 7pm-ish, it was slammed. So be warned that it fills up around feeding time. Recommended!

This was our second time in with the bar tender Stacy. She is absolutely rude! We come in to enjoy some nachos and beer and play pull tabs. The first time we came in we placed our drink order and food order and requested pull tabs. She told us she didn’t have time for those so we were able to cancel our food and drinks and left. Tonight she knew what we had come in for so again she asked for drink and food order and said she would be back. When she did return we asked to play pull tabs she then told us that she was too busy to do pulls tabs as she then went out the back door to the smoke section with her phone. I mentioned she had done this to us before and her reply was that was directed from the owners. So if you wanna play pull tabs don’t go to bootleggers as if they are “busy” they won’t accommodate. I will not be spending my money at bootleggers is Stacy W is the bartender.

This was my first time here and it was beyond a disappointing experience. The wait staff were rude for starters. I was told the atm didn’t work but upon trying it out anyways I was able to use it just fine. I then ordered some food and waited around 45 minutes just for it to never arrive so I cancelled my order, closed my bill and left. None of this seemed reasonable as they were not busy. Unfortunately will not be returning.

I specifically ask that they not over cook my food. When my food came it was obviously overcooked. I told the waitress and she started making up excuses. If my food could not be served the way I was ordering it the waitress should have informed me of that at the time I was placing my order. I told her that if it couldn’t be cooked the way I requested that I did not want it. The waitress picked up the food and took it back to the kitchen. When the bill came she had charged me for the food she took back and not replaced. We paid our tab and vowed to never eat there again.This place is hit and miss when it comes to food. I have order home cut fries and they are freshly cooked and delicious other times when I have ordered them they have obviously been reheated in a microwave. It is bad enough that they cannot consistently serve good food but the fact that instead of trying correct the issue the waitress comes up with some BS excuse. I recommend to eat some place else.

The waitstaff was excellent but, the food was less than desirable. The potatoes were still mostly raw and, the mozzarella sticks were still partially frozen. After waiting for 56 minutes just to receive our drinks, we just paid for the order and left without eating.
