The service was fine for a cafeteria seat yourself restaurant. We went there after seeing the Ansel Kiefer, exhibit at the St. Louis Art Museum. I ordered the pizza and salad combo. The Queen’s Margherita half flatbread and cypress salad with a Balsimic vinegerette dressing. Overall the food was delicious but I wish the tomatoes on the flatbread were quartered before being placed on the pizza. The whole slice comes off when you bite into the pizza and all you taste is tomato and the topping comes with it. Basically you are eating all the topping with each section. Not able to enjoy all the flavors on the pizza. The salad was good but with a little too much cucumber pieces. I would recommend but know there are many choices to choose from

Tried this spot for the first time since I’m aiming for healthier food in Kirkwood. This is it. Their pizzas are light, airy, and fresh. Their salads are equally as good!
The Jackie Chan sticks are to die for! Recommended! We will definitely be back. The prices are very reasonable too! You can’t go wrong with the salad and half a pizza. Ugh, I can’t recommend this place enough. The interior is also very clean, well kept, and pretty!
Staff is friendly too!

I went to Crush Red in Kirkwood with high expectations based on its reputation for fresh, healthy ingredients and a casual dining experience. Unfortunately, my visit did not meet these expectations.
While the menu promises a variety of creative salads, artisanal pizzas, and healthy wraps, the overall experience was disappointing. The staff, particularly the person at the cash register, was notably unhelpful and rude, which detracted significantly from the visit. There was also a lack of clear communication about the menu and service.
Despite the inviting concept and potential for a great meal, the poor service overshadowed the positives. I hope this feedback helps the restaurant address these issues and improve the customer experience.

We needed lunch near the Kirkwood Performance Center & absolutely loved our salads here! Unique food options were very fresh & flavorful. I only regret I don’t live in the area, or I would be here often!! Located in a beautiful plaza!

I tried the Play Gloria salad and I added grilled chicken. It has field greens with blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, candied walnuts and blue cheese with cranberry poppyseed salad dressing. It looked fabulous and tasted great but. There were a couple chunks of chicken that were purple on the side. It probably contained a vein but visually it was very unappealing. Please cut those veins out before you serve it. We arrived around 6pm for dinner. They are very efficient in making salads and they keep the place organized and clean. The restaurant had the a/c running nonstop. We moved tables to get away from the draft. They are in a courtyard with 4-5 other businesses. The best place to park is south of the building and the next best is on the north side of the building.

I had delivered the salad Play Gloria. Unfortunately it contained a lot of brown lettuce. No excuse for this. After I removed all the brown lettuce I noticed they forgot to include the roasted chicken. I checked the receipt and I was charged for it. Shameful quality and terrible execution.

Very disappointed. A friend recommended we eat at this place. She did tell me that there was not table service but instead one needed to go up and order.
I ordered a Cobb salad and a diet cola. I was given a cup and directed to a bar where there were soda and tea was available for self service. I was charged $3.49 for the drink.
Possibly the most insulting part of the experience was a TIP WAS ADDED TO THE BILL that I needed to adjust if I wanted to change. For what? What service was I tipping? So far had walked around to different stations to get my salad, wait in line to check out, wait again as the cashier helped another person who approached them.
The soda fountain did not have take home cups, so for me, I was charged $3.49 for one soda and I did not get any refills, nor a to go cup.
Why would I chose to eat here?
I won’t chose to eat here in the future.

Tad expensive but best white sauce pizza I’ve ever had with the Yukon Gold Steakhouse. Salads are great as well. The quality of food just makes up for the slightly high prices
