A few years ago me and my friend wanted to try every Mexican restaurant in Chattanooga to try and find the best one. After several months of different restaurants, we stopped searching at La Santa! The food is incredible, it never disappoints. The tacos are the best, my favorite so far is the Birria. You can tell everything is house made, even the sauces that come with the tacos. I can not begin to emphasize enough how great the margaritas are!!! The best I’ve ever had. I recommend the frozen pineapple and the frozen regular. The owner is also very kind, often bringing us new samples to try. The restaurant has beautiful outdoor seating and the location in Coolidge park makes for a perfect opportunity to walk off all those tacos and margs. I think it’s the best place to be a regular at. Truly the best of the best!

Great experience. The food was great. Best chips I think I’ve ever tasted at a Mexican restaurant. And I’ve been to a few. The best experience of the night was the service. Specifically, the server, Asher. I highly recommend u request him when visiting La Santa. He is friendly, helpful and patient. Excelled in conversation which is an important characteristic for any waiter to embody. Asher was a 10+. La Santa is a little higher than most Mexican restaurants but overall still a solid 9. The parking can be an issue. But don’t let those two small things keep u from trying this place out. And don’t forget….Ask for Asher!

New name but same great food and service. I’m not sure why the name changed, but I love the new updates and the wings on the wall to take pictures with wings.
I had the grilled chicken fried in a corn tortilla and beans with rice. Very delicious meal.

La Santa easily has the BEST birria tacos in Chattanooga!!! I’m a Nashville native & it has been hard to find food as great here. Just 10/10, from the flavor to the crispiness of the tortilla. I’ve eaten here a few times now & have left feeling great every time. The last time we dined in, we had Lola as our waitress & she was so so sweet. Even despite being new to the job, she was on top of everything!

Our server, Jesus, made our first experience at La Santa even better than anticipated. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was wonderful. My house margarita wasn’t what I hoped for but will not deter me from returning.

I am from the west coast and have been looking for good Mexican food since I moved to the east coast recently.
This is the place to get it! Their birria tacos compare with some of the best I’ve ever had. The Al Pastor is seasoned perfectly. The drinks are made with fresh fruit and no mixers. In fact everything is made fresh according to the incredibly friendly owner and you can tell by the taste. The guacamole is the best I’ve ever had anywhere.
The staff is also very friendly and the food comes out quick. This is the spot if you are in Tennessee to get some legit Mexican food the way it should be. I cannot say enough good about this place. Definitely coming back and would recommend it to anybody looking for good Mexican food

Ordered in door dash… ordered fajitas and the chicken is undercooked and the veggies are raw, I had called when I placed the order to ask for extra tortillas since it wasn’t an option on door dash the said okay we are very busy… weren’t very friendly on the phone. We had also ordered cheese dip and no chips were in the bag so now we are unable to eat it. Such a disappointment. If you are too busy to deal with door dash orders don’t take them because the food isn’t worth being undercooked if you are “too busy”

Pretty standard food that is good to go to if nearby. Nothing bad and menu had all of the usual items. Nothing we had was a disappointment. Parking during day can be difficult but location is excellent if in area. Nice staff.

Amazing layered flavors. Burrito may look small but it’s more than half meat, very filling and satisfactory. Excellent customer service – manager was checking on everyone and we accidentally received a wrong item and got the correct item in addition, no charge, no arguing just “that’s ok” and promptly got our food. La Santa dip is the best cheese dip I’ve tried.
