Great little spot in the Strip District! Good pricing, nice beer selection, and great service. A lot of their ingredients are locally sourced from the area. Emma took great care of us and made some fantastic drinks.

P.S. Do yourself a favor and order the mac & cheese!

First time Visiting Pittsburgh and I’m so glad that I picked this place to check out! When I say I was absolutely blown away with the hospitality and drink recommendations. Emma was our bartender and took excellent care of us. 10/10 and will be coming back on each trip. Thank you Emma for making our trip even more special!

BeerHive is such a hidden gem in the strip district! They have ongoing beer selections and always tend to have something new to try when visiting! Although the beer is nice, the tanqueray pickletini is a must try!!! Ambience and staff are always great!

Good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. We had a smashburger and hot sausage sandwich with fried pickles. Everything was very good. They did charge for a to-go bag but did not mention it ahead of time. Otherwise, we will be back.

A staple of The Strip District.  The Beerhive is a neighborhood bar and grill that has tons of beer options, both canned and rotating taps.  They have a full bar as well and feature specialty cocktails from time to time.   They have burgers, wings, tacos and more, all made from scratch in-house while using tons of local ingredients.  Their meatballs, burgers and wing sauces are all made on site. I tried the fried pickles which are hand breaded Pittsburgh Pickle Company pickles served with spicy ranch. Their smash burger is amazing, the burger is sourced entirely within walking distance of their front door! The bun is from Mancini’s, the meat is from Strip District Meats, the cheese is from Penn Mac, the onions are from Local Provisions, the pickles are Pittsburgh Pickle Company & the Hive sauce is made in house! It’s a local Pittsburgh business sandwich spectacular!!! Of course had to get it with their delicious fresh cut fries!

The gal at the counter recommended the espresso martini and my sis 100% agreed that it was delicious. Strong but delicious.

I had one of the local brews and my brother tried a German one. The gal behind the counter was very familiar with the different pour styles and educated us thoroughly, which really added to the experience.

The decor both upstairs and downstairs was a VIBE. Enjoyed our time here 5 stars.

I love this place and never had a bad experience until today. Our server was very rude, didn’t really acknowledge us when we would thank her, dropped a bottle of ketchup on me and didn’t even give me so much as a “you good” or “did you get ketchup on you?” And somehow my bill had $5 added to it. Wasn’t worth the aggregation to ask why, but I’ll have to consider all this before I come back. Real shame because this place has so much charisma right in the heart of the strip.

Went there to wait for an uber and asked for menus. My two friends were a little drunk so they said “hey we can’t serve you” we said “okay. We’re just waiting for rides.” The bartender and the “regulars” made fun of all of us. The people who go here are rude and so is the staff. Still tipped though… bet they didn’t know that. Coming from a Pittsburgh local, I will NEVER return.

A full bar with a nice selection of local beers on tap, mostly craft beers but also I.C. Light and Yuengling. Of course, the beer I wanted was kicked and they hadn’t changed the sign yet but the few beers we had were all good, cold, and poured well. We didn’t eat but the food at tables around us looked good. The bartenders were attentive but not friendly.

Nice place for lunch. There is extra seating upstairs so if it looks full ask about upstairs. Beer was good. My sour was berry delicious. Food is your regular bar fare. Service was excellent!
