This is a casual, humble street taco shop – nothing fancy here – well except for the tacos which are outstanding! Great value, very tasty, super speedy. Great spot for a quick lunch. Lots of parking and the lot can accommodate a camper. Shout out for crazy good pickled carrots!

Speedy is always a great place to eat at if you want real Mexican food. This is great homemade real food not reheated store bought food.The staff are a pleasure to work with. The Chicken and Rice or Tortilla Soup are fantastic!!

Had their chicken quesadilla and their chicken california burrito. The quesadillas were simple, but super flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly! The burrito was massive! Same chicken used in the quesadillas but paired with rice, beans, cheese, pico and lettuce! Definitely going to fill you up and you’ll be more then happy with quality and quantity!

Simply the best tamales! I live in Ohio and travel to Boaz for work. When I’m here, I always hit Speedy Gonzales. I love their tacos, the affordability, and the staff is always great too. They don’t make tamales this good in the north. Just don’t do it. I’d post a picture but that tamale is already gone!

This is my favorite taco place around. I drive 30 minutes from Gadsden to get their tacos and tamales all of the time. Great street tacos loaded with cilantro and onions. Grab a bag full of tamales to take to the game day party. Don’t forget the green and red sauces. Everything here is delicious and the customer service is always amazing.
