Mexican baked goods like empanadas & orejas, along with tacos & burritos, offered in a casual space.

The food taste was good and pretty decent compared to those we tried. I wish they offer lime rice but they don’t- their cali burrito was really good and their quesabirria was decent compared to those I had tried in VA.
The price and amount of food, it could be improved to make every penny counts.
Service was okay, she was nice.
The place is small and usually does takeout or to go. Also their restroom was closed when we visited so it’s hard to dig in with finger foods if you can’t wash your hands. Hoping it is not always the case.

Best authentic Mexican food in this entire area. Tortas, Tamales, everything. Hands down the best. I say this as a native Texan who’s been looking for years for an authentic torta in this area. I’ve finally found it. This family owned place knows their food! Go!

A lot of the food here is great and I’ve been there 4-5 times already. There’s plenty of parking for this low-key, out-of-the-way place so you’ll have no problems with a visit. The cashier is very friendly and helpful. It not a restaurant but more a cafe and very relaxing. My wife loves the sopa de res and has had it a few times. My son had the California burrito tonight and I’ve had it before as well; it doesn’t disappoint. I tried the tacos and think this is where they miss the mark. But the food is good. I also like their tortas.

Some of the most delicious tacos I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. Tacos are loaded up with very fresh toppings. I got the carnitas and asada + birria tacos and they did not disappoint. The asada taco was very well seasoned. More impressive was the carnitas taco which was very tender; you can taste the juices embracing every surface of the pork as it latches on the same way on your taste buds.
Though a bit pricier, the birria tacos were worth it because they were very hot and crispy on the outside, and flavorful on the inside, especially when you dip the sauce. Every bite was filled with melted cheesy tender meat engulfed in a rich, flavorful broth.
Very fairly priced and generous portions. I’ll for sure be taco’ing here again.

We’ve been here a few times and I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet. We’ve really enjoyed everything we’ve had. The first things that brought me here was seeing a variety of tortas and also a California burrito.
The California burrito is massive and delicious. It’s so large that it’s hard to get all the fillings into one bite, but if that’s the biggest “complaint” it’s not a problem. The tortas are nice and I usually go for the breaded beef. The little things push it higher, like the fact that the beef is tender enough to bite through. This might sound silly, but I’ve had tortas with the breaded beef where it’s a little more firm and instead of being able to bite through, it pulls out the whole piece of meat when you bite it.
This last time I grabbed a piece of bread pudding and regret I didn’t get at least a second one. Lightly warmed it was so nice and I also wish I had some ice cream or custard to go with it.

great customer service but the food man, I honestly had such high expectations due to all the good reviews, but for me, I honestly didn’t like it. the food was eatable but just didn’t enjoy it & plus it’s pretty pricey! so yeah definitely not worth it. the tacos were OK, torta had a crazy amount of onion that made it disgusting, the sopes were not good. the only actual good item was the carne asada fries, that was actually bomb. oh and the horchata, that did nottt taste like no horchata lol. the food just looks so good, unfortunately it was not. almost $80 for all of that fyi.

I’ve been here a few times… Out of all the “Mexican” places around here, this one gets closest to the mark. The SO and I have ordered tamales, tacos, and tortas here, and it’s always reminded us of home. The green salsa is so good and packs a light punch. If you don’t entertain the idea of some flavorful salsa on your food, then you should go somewhere else because ranch isn’t on the menu.
The one thing that I didn’t like was the flavor of nutmeg.. or cardamom.. and/or some cinnamon(?) In some of the meats. While I didn’t like it, my SO enjoyed it even more. I definitely recommend eating g here or getting takeout if you want something authentic.

Amazing experience and strong recommendation!
This place is a casual Mexican eatery in the absolute best sense. The man working the counter was really relaxed and friendly to talk to, giving it a real small-business and home-cooked vibe. The food itself was fantastic! I got the pastor burrito, and thought it was delicious. My only comment is perhaps a little bit too much rice in the mix, which led to some bites being mostly rice.
The vanilla cream donut (I believe it was called an empanada de leche) was amazing as well!
Prices are quite good as well for this area! Overall I highly recommend and will definitely be back. Some of the best Mexican food in this part of the country!
