We have been here soooo many times and every time everything has been great! That is until today. They have recently changed their menu (which is fine, I totally understand) and have increased the prices of everything (again, totally understandable with today’s economy). Normally, our service is great! Tonight, it was not. We waited about 10 minutes before we were able to get another server to bring us a drink we were missing and our queso. The fries that came with one of our meals tasted burnt and horrible! We got the Elote, which my daughter was super excited for, and it was less than disappointing. It had no flavor other than what corn and butter taste like with a sprinkle of cheese. Our server checked on us once before we left, other than us having to ask other servers or attempt to get their attention. I hope this was just one of those days and it gets better. I’m sure we will be back, but it will be awhile. Tonight just wasn’t the night for us.

We’ve been here before with no issues. 1/24 and service was nonexistent literally. Stood to be seated and a girl that was walking out didn’t greet us but sat us down and walked out the front door. No one ever came to take our order, but the bartender was talking to someone at the bar and made eye contact with us. After 15 minutes we walked out. It was not busy, we were the only ones in the restaurant besides a man at the bar. Dirty tables.

I found some little critters in my Doritos and told the waitresses, but she didn’t care because she didn’t tell the manager. He never came to apologize or ask if everything was okay, if anything had happened. They didn’t care at all. They charged us for everything as if nothing had happened.

Confused of how a very empty restaurant could sit people down and be seen multiple times by employees but not served for almost 20 minutes. But again sat by an employee. Empty restaurant dirty tables. Eventually just leaving. Very disappointed because never had a problem like that before

Menus changed. Small selection from previous menu and expensive for what you get. Been eating here for years and will have to find a new place. Have dealt with poor service prior but since the menu has changed will seek other options. Sad to see this change.

The food here is decent, but it does not justify what you’re going to pay for it. The food doesn’t usually seem fresh. The portions, however, are generous and enough to satisfy a large appetite.
Would I go back? Yeah, probably. Just because the next Mexican restaurant is in Rincon. But if I had the option of El Ranchito or another Mexican restaurant, I would definitely go with something else.

Service was pretty good. It was not busy so the wait was fairly short to get the food. Although the food portion was huge, the flavor was lacking in the Chilaquiles that I ordered. The salsa with the free chips was very good though .
