We had the pleasure of eating lunch at Mom’s today and Oh! My! Goodness! I cannot wait to go back! The food was beyond delicious! The menu selections were amazing! The service was spectacular! And on the way out, had the pleasure of meeting the owner; what a sweet, sweet lady! Would I drive 2.5 hours to dine here again? YES!

I was laying in bed craving biscuits and gravy and I remembered my neighbor mentioning how good the food was here.
The biscuits and gravy were outstanding! Big chunks of sausage, soft biscuits and served hot. The portion was larger than I expected…which is just fine with me.
This place is great and I’ll be back for sure.

It’s been a few months since I’ve been here and my visit today was disappointing. A number of items on the menu had “discontinued” written through them, which surprisingly included home style favorites like meat loaf and chicken pot pie. The roast beef sandwich was okay but nothing special. There are better choices in town, thank goodness. I’m done here.

Nice mom and pop Cafe that has a decent selection. My friend is a regular. We drop in when I visit. I live on the north end of Omaha, so I don’t get down there that often. Food is good and prices reasonable. Portions are on the bigger side. The place has been in operation in one form or another since the end of WW2?

Wonderful people who love to serve. I have ate at Mom’s Cafe several times. Across many dishes. Never disappointed with the taste and portion. Atmosphere is like going over to Grandmom’s house for my favorite dish made from love.

Two stars only because they were open New Year’s Day 2026.
Food… eggs cold to the touch, hash browns under cooked and cold to the touch (ordered extra crispy), Chic fried steak was lukewarm warm. Service,,, we’ll say it followed suite with the food. We left a tip only because it was New Year’s Day but it was painful.

Great food, with an authentic German dishes. The staff was great, very attentive and helpful. The German Casserole was very good, with sausage, kraut and spaetzel noodles. The Philly Steak Supreme was a great option for anyone that likes a more typical option. The food came fast, we easily made another appointment in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
