Small tavern that specializes in sausages of all sorts. I got a bratwurst made with Natty Boh beer and it was very good. My companion got chicken wings that he enjoyed. I also got baked beans which were excellent. Beer-draft, cans and bottle. Cocktails. Service was first class.

Snake Hill is without a doubt one of the best pubs/bars/restaurants in Baltimore and has a very well-earned reputation. The sausages are tasty, the beer selection is top-notch, and the vibes are immaculate. Also very reasonably priced. I have to fight every urge to gatekeep this place, but I simply can’t. 10/10.

Eric provided excellent customer service and truly went above and beyond. He made sure my order was taken care of and even stepped outside to ask my Lyft driver to wait while my food was still being prepared. I really appreciated that extra level of care.

This place has the coolest menu: lots of exotic meats (rattlesnake, rabbit, alligator) and they are delicious.
Highly recommend this spot for lunch or an easy, no-frills late night spot.

Hidden gem! I’d been meaning to try this place for a while but never got around to it. The bartender was super attentive and friendly and walked me through all the vegetarian options, including what could be substituted and what to stay away from.
Ended up ordering one of the plant-based sausages, truffle fries, and peanut butter cup.
Sausage was great! It did have a slightly weird aftertaste but I think that’s just because it was plant-based
Truffle fries were a little starchy and thick, which made them taste a little too earthy but still enjoyable’
Peanut butter cup was wonderful!
Atmosphere was intimate and friendly. Will visit again 🙂

Snake Hill is peak perfect neighborhood bar. Great chow, drinks, and the staff is always super friendly. Always a good crowd here too, with an interesting mix of visitors and locals. Could spend hours here sipping and getting into interesting discussions against a backdrop of soothing, amicable chatter.

Simply a terrific bar, and already a cherished Highlandtown institution! Always a good beer selection, and the food is consistently good– just remember it’s the “wurst bar in Baltimore” for a reason, sausages being the primary offering, but there’s also vegetarian/vegan options. Some exceptional staff that are always a pleasure to see, especially when it’s not super busy and they have time to chat.
