Phenomenal ambiance, with great service and attention to every detail. The food was amazing a well priced for a 4 course meal of such good quality. 39 dollars for a baseball cut top sirloin, amazing capers salad, twice baked potato and an appetizer.

Some friends of ours received a flyer for New Years, 4 course meal, champagne toast, live music and dancing. $99.00 per person. We made reservations for 8:40 and arrived around 8:20. An hour and a half later we finally were taken to a table, only to find that it had not been cleaned. We were left standing in the middle of the restaurant for another 5 to 10 minutes till they cleaned the table. The waiter showed up about 15 minutes later, however, we were never given menus. He recited the menu very quickly, to the point that he was not understandable. When I asked again to please bring us a menu he seemed to get a bit of an attitude. He did the same when I asked for a wine list. We finally ordered, but did not get our food till AFTER midnight. What we expected to be an evening of drinks, dinner and dancing turned out to be a night of waiting.
I asked to speak to the manager, she was full of excuses, none that were due to us or that we had control of. The Manager then proceeded to tell us that she had comped us two deserts, which in reality it was one. On reviewing my bill, I was charged $49.00 for the wine, that on the wine list was priced at $35.00. She then told me that, that was a typo and that it is really $49.00. After going around with her, she did take off the wine and beer off the bill and I ended up with a $200.00 doggie bag.
Needless to say I was very disappointed with the restaurant, the service and especially the manager.

The service was excellent. The cocktails were perfectly prepared. The flavor of the prime ribs that we ordered was superb and arrived at our table as per our requested levels of “doneness.” Seasoned to perfection. Also, the cheese-baked-potato side item was wonderful, as were the chopped wedge salads. The only slight drawback was that they portions were uneven: two people ordered the same thing (prime rib on the special) and one person’s was less than half the size of the other person’s. One was gone in several bites while the other had to go home in a to-go box. But as for flavor — unbeatable. We’ll return, for sure.

Was one of the absolute best places to have a great fillet minion cooked to perfection and the staff was extremely helpful and attending to every need from the time you step in the door until you drive away. Couldn’t ask for more.. highly appreciated and highly recommended . Definitely coming back again. Being tonight was my anniversary and I’d never been here before.

Worst service I have had in a while and that occurred after just walking in the door! I cannot speak to the quality of the food, but the manager they had at the Agoura location on New Year’s Eve is the most incompetent person I have ever met. We made a reservation for 8:30pm on New Year’s Eve and Prime’s website clearly stated that the first seating would be from 5pm to 9pm and the second seating was from 9pm to 1am. The second seating was more expensive because there was going to be a dance party, which my husband and I did not want to attend, so we decided to go during the first seating. Then we show up at 8:30pm and are told by the manager that we are there for the second seating and must pay more, because everyone in the first seating had to be seated by 7:45 and leave by 9pm! Further she says, didn’t anyone call you? of course not! After the manager would not honor the New Year’s promotion as listed on their website, we decided to leave. Little advice for the marketing department at Prime, you should probably consult your business lawyers before posting another deal like this, because if you are going to require people to finish dining by a certain time even though you list the seating time as 5pm to 9pm, you should probably add a disclaimer on your website to explain the “fine print.” It was our first time at Prime and we will never return. It was a clear bait and switch operation.

We have the prime rib – it was delicious. He got the (I think it was king? It was the largest sized one) and it was ridiculously huge. I think he had it for two left over sessions.
The place was lively and seemed to be a popular local hangout.
I gave it 1 star less because we were seated at a table that was set off center and seated next to one another. That led to me having to keep my neck looking left the entire night. As soon as we left I had a huge crick on the right side of my neck that didn’t go away for almost a week 🙁 Next time I’ll know to move seats if we are seated that way again.

One of my favorite places to frequent, owner and staff very friendly and hands on. I have eaten at many high end restaurants and this is the only place where the owner not a manager comes by and chalks on you and remembers you by name.

Terrible experience. My wife and I had reservations for 7pm. At 7:45 the hostess seats another couple that arrived 30 minutes after us because they had reserved a table in “The Wine Room”. I asked so my reservation means less because I didn’t request a particular spot? At that point we asked for the manager he apologized and asked us if we would like to wait on the couch for a table. We wait for another 15 minutes and walk out at 8pm. Worst service I have ever had.
