I have always enjoyed Wendy’s, and other fast food restaurants but this particular location delivered the most disappointing service I have experienced. The drive-thru wait time was excessive, with multiple customers waiting an unreasonable amount of time for their orders. In addition, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was unacceptable. The restroom floor was covered in urine, which reflects poorly on the store’s sanitation and maintenance standards. I also observed serious concerns regarding food handling procedures. Two employees entered from outside, and one immediately took over the burger preparation station from another employee. After handling a customer’s payment, he returned to preparing food without washing his hands or changing gloves. Another employee appeared confused and unsure of their responsibilities, which further slowed operations and created an unprofessional environment. These issues were extremely concerning and raised questions about the safety and quality of the food being served. This location clearly requires immediate attention and stronger management oversight. From a health and safety perspective, the restaurant does not appear to be adhering to proper sanitation and food handling standards. A visit from the Department of Health may be necessary to ensure corrective measures are implemented.

THANK YOU Wendy’s crew! Tonight was a great experience overall. I’d been hesitant to try again after several ‘unsatisfactory’ experiences a long time ago, but tonight’s crew was AWESOME! From the polite guy crossing for trash duties, the polite lady taking my order and having to bring it to me and down to when I got home my food was well packaged and fresh. Appreciate y’all!

My family and I went through the drive thru here to order lunch. The cashier who took our order was very pleasant! She took our order and repeated it to make sure it was correct. It was almost as pleasant as Chick fil A! This was a nice visit after shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall all day!

I love Wendy’s, but this location has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The wait time was horrible, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was disgusting; the restroom floor was full of urine. They had 2 guys come straight from outside one went to the drive thru window where he was took over the register from someone who was making sandwiches, he took an order reached for the customer’s money turned around and went to help making sandwiches with no gloves on it sickened me to my stomach, the other guy was preparing fry orders with no That sandwich, but I know it would have confused. This store needs some attention because, from the Department of Health’s side, this restaurant is very unsanitary. This Wendy’s is straight garbage with consistency. I just pulled up and was told their entire system is down and they aren’t taking orders at all — unreal for a fast-food place. On top of that, the chocolate Frosty machine is constantly broken, and in the past I was even told the classic chocolate Frosty was taken off the menu permanently, which is stupid. Between broken systems, broken machines, and mixed-up info, this place is a complete waste of time.

Just pulled up and they literally had ZERO customers. Not one person came to drive thru. I drove around and the light skin skinny girl is literally looking at me in my truck and holding her headset which she orders. I saw a heavier dark toned woman outside hugging someone as a pulled in..I waited at the speaker and NOT ONE PERSON picked up to take my order. That is absolutely lazy and horrible, especially when you have ZERO customers.

I ordered a family size chili from there and all the cups was filled half way. Its not the first time this has happened. Even when I order a regular size chili the cup comes half way full. I paid my money so I expect for the cup to be filled not half way. Then they was out of chili sauce. That i understand because sometime they run out of supply waiting for a truck, but the other i can not. Its only happened at this location. I will not be coming back to this location again. This location needs to do better. The Wendy’s on hwy 30 by Tanger Outlet.

Custom Burns
First, three fast food combos should never cost $45! The only drinks they have today is water or lemonade, fortunately we had our own beverages. And, of course, we had to pull ahead and wait quite a while for our order while every other vehicle seemed to come and go with ease. Do yourself a favor, just go find a good plate lunch counter! The food is usually much better, less expensive and your order will be right every time.

Lady working drive thru is extremely rude. i’m not one to post a google review either.. She was talking to fast and i thought she told me to pull up for my ice cream (i had a mobile order) after about 10 minutes she comes up and she swung the door open and it slammed against the building. she yelled that i had already gotten my food and asked what i was doing, i told her i thought she told me to pull up and she said that they didn’t have any ice cream, also didn’t get a refund. i work close by so it was convenient, but never again. Not being talked to like that.
