Came here for dinner on a work trip and WOW! started with the Caesar salad and was fantastic. Lettuce was crisp, big Pieces of real parm cheese and homemade Caesar dressing. Got the personal white pizza and was great. Lotssss of cheese but overall was great. Parmesan cheese on the table was some of the best. Crust was a home rub. Cannolis for dessert 4 chocolate cannolis. Could tell the cannoli filling was homemade 10 out of 10 service in the dining room was incredible. Fast and efficient service. Price was also a steal all that food for $20. Wow gotta come check this out!

Hands down the best pizza in Richmond and the surrounding areas there single salad is the biggest that I have ever seen, very filling unlike all the other Italian restaurants anywhere else I have been. And I eat at a lot of Italian restaurants. Trust me when I tell you you will not find a better pizza anywhere else in this state. I put my life on it. Plz plz go there I would love for some one to prove me wrong. There service is always on point. The only problem is there close Mondays and Fridays and the food and service is so damn good you would be wise to call ahead and make a reservation. It truly is my favorite pizza place of all time

This was our families first time at Giovanni’s and we will definitely be coming back. All of the staff were super friendly and provided great service from the time we arrived to when we left. We were seated quickly and the food arrived just as quickly. The house salad was fresh and gigantic. The garlic knots are a must. All of the food was delicious! Highly recommended.

Oh. My. Gosh. I cannot put into words how delicious our meal was. The garlic knots…see how many there are? $8!!! So fresh, warm, doughy, just amazing.
The stromboli is huge! Made wonderfully, the cheese was just oozing out, so good.
The pizza is a 10″ personal pizza and my daughter loved it! The cheese was gooey and perfect. The crust cooked just right.
I got the gnocchi with meat sauce and, despite being so full, I didn’t want to stop because it was that good.
The best part? Our waitress was absolutely magnificent. I wish I got her name, but she works Thursdays and Saturdays and was wearing pizza earrings. She was so friendly and on top of everything.
We can’t wait to go back! Next time we’ll save room for dessert.

Great food but a little over the top on cheese. The pizza can’t sustain all the topics/cheese so really comes off as a fork/knife pizza which is great if that’s your thing.
Otherwise, good crust and cook on it, solid sauce, and good toppings when you can find them under the cheese. High quality cheese though because it wasn’t super greasy.

The best calamari we’ve had in a while! It was the least chewy calamari we’ve ever had.
I don’t like they charge more for the debit/credit. Small business sure but more and more were cashless so just another cost out there I guess.
Serve team was good because they made up for a somewhat attentive primary server.
Would go here again if in the area.

We celebrated a birthday today at Giovanni’s. Some of us had never been, and other family members were regulars.We ordered a variety of meals,pizza, and salads.Everything was delicious, with large portions, and was reasonably priced. They even had GF options for my granddaughters. We received excellent service from our waitress Audrey! Thank you!

This was my first time here and I had the best experience ever at an Italian restaurant ❤️ All 5 in our party felt the same way! Our waiter and even the owner checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. In addition, I have dairy allergies and they were able to accommodate my allergies. Food was so good! Pizza crust was so good & crispy just how I like it! We will be back!! ❤️

I grew up on Brooklyn pizza, and it’s been years since I’ve found a spot that hits the same way — this place does it. The crust, the sauce, the flavor… it all feels like home. They get busy on weekends, but they still get it done. And Savannah really adds to the atmosphere — friendly, genuine, and makes the whole experience even better.

I’ve been coming for 20+ years and am super disappointed at the decline in the recent change. I don’t know if ownership changed in recent years but the atmosphere is completely different.
I came at 3pm on a Saturday to a dead restaurant and was greeted with eye rolls to a table of 9 (weekend after thanksgiving and I had family in town). The host quickly told the manager(?) “You can deal with this”. We were seated 10 minutes later being the only 2 tables in the restaurant.
At one point we asked for the WiFi, unfortunately a dead zone and our waitress told us the manager didn’t know, clearly not her issue at all.
Our waitress was wonderful and left a 20% tip.
