We have been ordering from Anthony’s for over 5 years. Today was a disappointing. Ordered Margherita pizza, with tip its $30. Picked up, got home just to see that pie was barely covered with tomato sauce (only 2 pieces in the middle) rest was dry crust with sad thin slices of Mozzarella melted on them. Felt like throwing a frozen store bought pizza in the oven for $7 would be better idea for tonight. Hope you guys will do better next time, because this is straight up .

I was a regular customer. I was generally present during Happy Hour, but most of my bill almost always came from paying the full price on a regular meal. My first disappointment resulted from not being permitted to use earned rewards, because I had bought items during Happy Hour, even though I had purchased a meal at the full price. My bill was over$50.00. I had planned never to return to Anthony’s, but I went there again last night, because a friend asked me to meet her there. I got a beer, and then I wanted to get the Wednesday Pizza Special. The bartender said that I could not get the special, because I had already bought a Happy Hour drink. I told her, that I did not want the pizza, and I would never come back. She explained the new policy. I told her, that the new policy was even worse, than I thought was. Ironically, the guy next to me was eating donuts from another restaurant. Your deals are a fraud, and your policy is screwed up. You treat good, paying customers badly. A Former Regular Customer P.S. Ultimately, I got the pizza at the Wednesday Special price, but I am finished. I expect to be treated right, without a complaint, or argument. Your restaurant is not worth the hassle.

We came to Anthony’s a few nights ago as we do nearly once a month because we absolutely love the food, in spite of the poor service and what seems to be a directionless staff. I can’t tell you how many times we come here and it seems like their main priority is just hanging out with one another. Yet we still come back because THATS HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS! But this last visit was different. We met the manager Jimmy and got to talk to him for a few minutes at our table. He was a superstar with our child, who is autistic and not easy to deal with, and a gentlemen to us. He found out she loved pretending shes at Anthony’s when we make pizza at home so he surprised her and packed up a to go box with a ball of dough, cheese and sauce so she could make the real thing home. I will remember her smile forever. He even took the time to catch us at the door as we were leaving to thank us for being loyal despite frequent bad service. This was the first time we met a manager so this was a delightful surprise. And our pizza was cooked perfectly as always! Thank you to Jimmy and the team.

We usually love this location for it’s convenient pick up and the quality of it’s food, but lately it’s been going downhill.
The last order we made was for a 16in meatball and ricotta. The first thing I noticed was the crust seemed rather thin. It really had the texture of a regular oven pie, not what we are used to from the coal oven. The other issue was that it was a full inch smaller than it should have been. Now while it might not seem like a big deal, when you pay nearly $30 for a pizza, you should get what you pay for. That one inch difference amounts to Anthony’s overcharging about $4 a pie. Not sure we’ll be back.

I eat here often. Good pizza, crisp crust. The Square Margarita is better than the regular pies. Especially like their meatballs…but they are terribly overpriced. I see you can get 2 meatballs for $4 during Happy Hour but I never get there early enough. Also recommend the Spaghetti and the Eggplant Marino.

We went on Friday night for a quick grab – there was a 15 min wait for two people. We sat down, menu was easy to read. We ordered spinach artichoke dip, margarita pizza, and original wings. Artichoke dip came with toasted garlic flat bread – bread was good but dip got cold so fast and wasn’t anything to remember. Wings were decently seasoned but dry. We asked for a side of bbq or ketchup and they said they didn’t have either – we asked for the sauce that comes with the bbq wings. The pizza as the best part. 55 dollars for the 3 things. Most impressed with regular pizzerias.

I was honestly unimpressed, I hear a lot of good things about this restaurant. We ordered the most popular items on the menu including the wings which didn’t have any sauce and when I asked for bbq they said they didn’t have. However our waitress was very helpful in finding us an alternative to try. The dip was served with these bread like seasoned trips that were way too overpowering.

Not sure how you can be a pizza-based restaurant and have terrible pizza, especially when we are in NJ and there are pizza places on the every corner, but here it is. My kids and I stopped here on the way home because it was an easy on/off the highway. We ordered pizza and my son wanted the kids’ spaghetti. The pizza crust was extremely dry and tasteless. There was nothing “coal fired” about it. It was just bad. I brought the remainder home and my husband ate it later. He even said “that is the worst pizza I’ve ever had.” The spaghetti was looked good and my son seemed to like it. I tried the meatball and it was good, so not all bad. I just can’t believe a pizza place served pizza THAT bad.

I would STRONGLY recommend you guys dropping Grubhub as an ordering option. Two Thursday’s in a row now the service failed to even pick up the order for over 75 minutes as I watched them go about delivering other orders on GPS. Twice in seven days I was forced to cancel my order and demand a refund from them. Clearly I should have placed my order directly.

While none of this is your restaurant or locations doing, I thought it only fair to warn you and your customers that continuing your business relationship with them is probably a bad idea. Your food is too good to have this degree of frustration associated with it, even incidentally.

I recently ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and a regular cheese pie, and both were extremely disappointing. The cheese pizza barely had any cheese, and the crust tasted old and stale — almost like it was reheated leftovers. The buffalo chicken pizza was even worse; instead of being properly made, it looked like someone just dumped grilled chicken covered in sauce on top of a plain cheese pie.

This place used to have great pizza, but something has definitely changed. I was very disappointed with this order and hope they improve their quality again.
