Beep; Boop Beep!
Nothing spices up a Sunday like some Cuban for brunch. The lad wanted a Cuban sandwich so we scoped out this little gem.
Chicken empanada, Cuban sandwich and a Cafe Con Lache with a pinch of salt (new pro tip!) and we are set for the day.
Staff was amazingly friendly, food came out fast and hot, and was delicious.
5/5, will come back and you should give it a shot!

The Cuban sandwich was very delicious along with the fried Yuka and garlic sauce. The plantains were great as well.

The food is phenomenal! We’ve been craving a Cuban sandwhich, sweet plantains, and of course the coffee since we visited the keys and Miami, and this little gem definitely exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend and we will most definitely be back!

My husband and I ate here during our honeymoon last weekend. This was the first time we both ate Cuban food. We had the # 18 along with fries. It was so so so good. We sat outside and enjoyed our dinner in the cool breeze. If we come back to Savannah again, we will be stopping by. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I wish I could give more stars. There just wasn’t a lot of love in the Cubano or the Beef Empanada. My sandwich was cold and soggy and lacking flavor. There was some crisp on the bread which was nice. The beef empanada was heavy on a sloppy Joe flavor and as served with no sauce and tasted like it was probably made the day before… also not very warm. I’ve been pretty excited about trying this place, but unfortunately was not impressed. The decor was cute and the staff was friendly, but I waited several minutes before being greeted. The workers had to finish their conversation first. I might try again to hopefully get a better experience, but the cost of the food ($20 for a sandwich and two empanadas) and the lack of flavor and sauce will probably not bring me back any time soon.

I just stopped in to grab a pressed Cuban sandwich. The staff was polite and efficient. The food was fresh and hot. The atmosphere is simple with a few tables inside and outside. I enjoyed my sandwich but will definitely ask for heavier mustard next time.

My mom and i stopped here for a bite to eat. Theis place is small but really cool, the staff was well beyond helpful and very friendly. This place was delicious, and they gave us a lot of food. They gave me extra meat because i was allergic to the cury and one of the sides, but it was more than enough. We were extremely happy and will return.

Best plantains Ive ever had. I love their cilantro lime sauce with every dish. Great vibe and so glad it’s open so late! Love this spot and you get a TON OF FOOD!

Great Cuban style breakfast sanguich (Cuban toast, ham, egg, cheese) and strong cafe con leche. Very friendly staff. Don’t let the gas station location fool you. Adding The Cuban Window to my Savannah must eat list.

As a person who lived in Miami and cooks a good deal of Cuban food myself, it was with high expectations after leaving the farmers market for some Cuban food.
The Good
I got the pork plate, and my wife got a plate of rice, beans, and plantains. The pork was very tender, and the beans were well-cooked.
The Bad,
The pork was mildly bland, and both the rice and beans were dry; it was as if the beans had been drained and patted dry.
And the Ugly
I personally have left plantains in the fryer a bit too long myself on occasion, but every bit of my plantains and my wife’s were 100% black.
As I was leaving, I decided to get a Cuban coffee; nobody does coffee like Cubans do, in my opinion. What I got was 6-7 ounces of sweetened espresso. If it had been Cuban coffee, I would have been wired for a day or more with that amount.
In closing, much like people who get pizza at a gas station and think it’s okay, as opposed to really good pizza, if you don’t mind less than mediocre Cuban food, have at it, but don’t expect anything like you would get in Little Havana. In fact, if this food were served in Little Havana, well, let’s just say it would go over well.
