The highlight of my food experience is the fried coconut shrimp, so much flavor. The service was very good and he check in on us to see if we needed anything. The juicy pork dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) and the spicy wontons, which are flavorful fillings and delicate wrappers. Signature Dishes: The Shanghai pork ribs and beef rolls are consistent favorites, their tender texture and savory sauces.
The seafood pan-fried noodles stand out for their crispy texture, and the scallion pancakes are often described as beautifully presented and flaky. Atmosphere and Service: The interior is spacious and light, featuring a modern aesthetic with art nouveau touches and an outdoor patio, while the service is generally described as efficient and hospitable. This location successfully blends the familiar, high-quality flavors of traditional Cantonese and Taiwanese-style cooking with a refined setting suitable for both casual family gatherings and more formal dinners. Consistent praise for the freshness of the ingredients and the variety of the menu makes it a reliable choice for those seeking comfort food in the Beverly Hills area.

My husband and I went out looking for a great dinner spot, and Mama Lu’s delivered! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt laid back. The server was friendly and provided amazing recommendations. And as far as the food, the pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was delicious! My favorite was the duck with crispy skin, but my husband loved the bbq pork buns. The menu is extensive so it should have something for everyone!

Had to come back once again but this time I stopped by Beverly Hills location and let me just say everything from my experience was great from the relaxing ambiance to the full bar, their kind and attentive service, and delicious food! Parking is in the same building and is only $5.25 after 4pm. This was my first time trying pecking duck and i am not dissapointed. The meat was so tender and tasteful. Their chili oil is soooo good, I add it to every bite! lol if you come I highly recommend the soup filled Shumai, all flavors explode in your mouth the moment you take a bite and don’t forget the garlic green beans! Sooooo good. I can’t wait to come back!

I’m just going to get down to the food. My favorite was the steamed fish. It was very flavorful and I loved how the sauce was very light. I chose it because I know it was a healthier option. As a very little pork eating person, the pork dumplings were really juicy and the Shanghai Pork Rib was also a hit for me and for the table. You gotta get in your veggies too! The House Stir Fry had the right amount of garlic to give it that nice punch. Of course I am biased about the fried tofu because I just love tofu. Let’s talk about the wings. Crispy crispy goodness. The first crunch will want you wanting more. Then…the highlight was their new dessert. It has a puff pastry on top and when you break into it, it’s the most creamy and delicious almond milk. It’s like melted creamy almond jello. Yes, I finished mine.

The staff were all kind and hospitable. The manager was very mind and informative with all the dishes as well. I thank them for giving us a great experience.

The place is very clean. The plates and dishes were all so pretty too. It’s a great place to celebrate any occasion.

There is a parking lot. I paid $5.50. Not bad at all.

Went there during Lunar New Year and it was CROWDED! We made reservations online but still had to wait outside for a bit before they called our name. The waiter was extremely busy — one guy had to handle a ton of things at once. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Just wish it could be a bit more organized.

This Mama Lu’s felt a little more classy and special! There’s a full bar and the food was really good. All of it came out flavored really well and they had some good recommendations. My favorite was the steamed fillet fish and the Shanghai pork ribs! At the end we got the special dessert that was a flaky pastry with hot almond soup and it worked together really well.

Food was amazing. I had the French Sirloin meat, which had the amazing flavor! The Shanghai chow mein with a little extra soy sauce was super enjoyable, and the juicy pork dumplings were extremely juicy. Definitely coming back to the spot to get the French sirloins!

I need everyone to know this isn’t your average dumpling house. This isn’t din tai fung. It’s much more. There is so many more selection of dishes and choices to choose from. I grew up with this kind of food. My favorite dish here is the seafood pan fried noodle. You won’t find this kind of noodle anywhere in the area. They’re crispy egg noodles with deliciously luscious sauce. I also ordered a Chrysanthemum tea and it was so soothing. This is my go-to spot for chinese comfort food. They have tons of great dishes like the green onion pancake, shrimp with scrambled egg, hot and sour soup, spicy salt pork chops, ha gao, mapo tofu. The list goes on and on. This has to be the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Beverly Hills. The people are really nice here be nice to them. They speak mandarin. It’s super family friendly or if you want a nice dinner out. I highly recommend.

Quality is amazing. Absolutely satisfied with every dish. Additionally, they serve great and tasty cocktails not too sweet or strong. Highly recommend the pecking duck. You can’t go wrong with anything here!
