I work nearby and go here once a week, and that is always my favorite day for lunch. Everything I have gotten here is good, my favorites are chicken or gyro salad and the beef shwarma or falafel pita. The ingredients are high quality and delicious and you can add a lot of toppings to whatever you get. The portions aren’t massive, but the value is still probably the best of any middle eastern restaurant in Birmingham, and the food is better too. Service is friendly and helpful too.

This place is fantastic! Small but man the food is worth the stop. Got the chicken shawarma and gyro over rice and some picked and red cabbage, hummus and Jerusalem salad. My friends and I already want to go back for more! Staff were lovely and gave me good recommendations 🙂

Absolutely the best falafel I’ve ever had! Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s a great spot for anyone looking for delicious vegetarian meals — plenty of healthy and satisfying options. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Highly recommend this place if you love authentic Mediterranean flavors!

I moved out of state and got to visit today and was so thankful they were open because every bite felt like my life was changing. It’s just the best falafel wrap I could ask for. Also, you can’t even get French fries like this in Mississippi. They were so delicious. I first tried this place roughly 9 years ago and I have never been disappointed. I’ll be craving them again in.. mm.. 3 hours.

I had the chicken shawarma and really enjoyed it. Excuse the photo of the last bite, I was too excited to dig in! I was especially happy to see it served in pita bread, which felt more authentic compared to the usual burrito-style wraps served across the U.S.
Flavor wise, it leaned more toward a chicken tikka profile than a traditional Middle Eastern chicken shawarma. As someone born and raised in the Middle East, I can say it wasn’t the classic shawarma taste I’m used to but it was still tasty, and the pita bread (an option) was definitely a hit.
This place is halal friendly, which is always a plus for me. One thing to note: if you can’t handle heat, stay far away from the Shatta (their hot sauce). It packs a serious punch. I enjoyed it regardless, I always appreciate a little kick.
One area that could use improvement is the service. Since it was my first visit, I wasn’t greeted or guided through the menu, which seems to follow a build-your-own format. Even though I looked a bit lost, no one stepped in to assist, so the experience felt a little unwelcoming.
I can’t speak to the atmosphere since I ordered my shawarma to-go, but overall, it was a flavorful bite, just not what I’d call traditional shawarma. Definitely give it a shot.

Great mujadara, gyro, and chicken schwarma. The hummus was creamy. Solid tzatziki Prices are reasonable. The staff was very nice. I wish the inside had a bit more decor or… anything. Just tables and chairs and bare walls. Would come again, often, if I lived in town.

Delicious! Everything was so good. We ordered a few things for a family of 4 to share. Hummus, fries, 2 falafel wraps. So good I highly recommend!! Nothing fancy but it’s about the food not the ambiance!! Perfect for a no frill “we’re here to eat and move on” visit.

We split the chicken shawarma and grape leaves (2 adults). I mean look at all those colors! This place is so yummy and quick. A definite spot to hit if your looking for delicious food! Seating outside and inside and food holds well if you take it to go. 10/10
