They didn’t food poison me. The front of house looked clean. The staff was friendly. The prices weren’t outrageous. To the best of my limited knowledge the restaurant isn’t involved in anything immoral. I can’t give this place 1 star and say it was the worst of the worst.
But the food quality is just above elementary school cafeteria and just below taco bell. The salsa was tomato juice. The jalapenos were certainly from cans, and I’m pretty sure the beans were too. There are multiple much better Mexican restaurants nearby like Costere or Jimador or even the taco bell/kfc next door. There’s just no reason to go here.

The fajitas are the way to go! Good portion for two people to share. We’ve only dined in once, and service was good, the overall atmosphere was pretty quiet, but we order to go every few weeks. Food is always ready quickly and comes out hot. A lot of restaurants skimp and fall short on the takeout orders anymore, but Las Fuentes keeps portions and quality good!

Hands down my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant in the Lakewood area and a place I’ve been coming to for over 8 years. The staff treats you like family and the food is fantastic. The restaurant has a great atmosphere both inside and out. The green chili is to die for and the breakfast burritos are a must try! The last time my wife and I visited I ordered Carne Asada Enchiladas and we split a delicious churro dessert. Although we are moving out of town we will always stop by when we are in the area and Thursday is free margarita night!

We really enjoyed our experience here. The service was some of the friendliest and most attentive I’ve come across! Very child friendly as well. The food was delicious and I can definitely recommend those tamales! If you’re craving Mexican food with a laid back but incredibly welcoming vibe, this place is it.

I’ve been vegetarian for 7 years and let me tell ya, this chicken chimichanga changed me and my life for the better. You can’t ask for better food or service! This restaurant is family owned and run and all the staff is super friendly!
Additionally, I’m learning Spanish and they are all more than happy to converse with me in Spanish and English. Love it here, incredible food, incredible vibes!
