Small place with great drinks!
I just chose this place on a whim after an appointment nearby and my husband, SIL, MIL, and I all had very different drinks but loved them all. (brown sugar milk tea boba, coffee milk tea with egg pudding, avo coco, and the matcha drink with mochi)
The vibe inside was a little surprising, with upbeat music yet the visual vibe reminded me of people doing homework on laptops quiet cafes. Definitely felt reminiscent of college-targeted cafes for me, which I always find cozy and welcoming for people to chat as well as do homework quietly.
The sizes are really nice for the price and it’s nice you can have choices to reduce/add ice and sweetness.
The staff were really kind. We watched them train someone on taking orders with their system, so it was a little slow but I wasn’t in a rush since they were trying to ensure every drink we ordered was correct. Our drinks came out surprisingly fast.

The place is worth a try. The drinks were doable, the flavors were there somwhat, although could be better mixed. I didn’t try the food, but they have so many to select from, maybe next time, I will give it another shot. The parking is free, and the location is a bit small inside for seatings. The price is average like most tea and food places.

The customer service here is lackluster, especially if you are a certain minority. The employees here are quick to help/serve patrons who are of their same ethnic background, but if you not, then you will be greeted with stares and left waiting forever to be helped. This is based on my own personal experience, so I cannot speak for others. But if you don’t believe me, then please read the other one star reviews. The treatment I received from this place turned me off to ever returning.

I tried their San Gabriel location so came here while I was nearby for some boba. The parking lot is a bit small but we managed to find parking. It was pretty full inside when we came but there was no line to order. They have a good amount of tables and a nice ambience for sitting and chilling with friends.
We got the green milk tea (4.99) with 50% ice and sugar. They ran out of matcha so we chose that inside. Too bad since their cream cheese matcha is good. The drinks were ready in less than 5 minutes. Their tea is very authentic tasting but also very strong. The 50% sugar made the drink more bitter than I expected, but it was still pretty good. A good milk tea still. I won’t be getting half sugar next time though. The price is also very worth it for the drink size. It is hard to find milk teas for this price and size now. I would come again for the matcha cheese foam when I am in the area.

Bon Appetea Café provides a plethora of food and boba drinks that will satisfy your craving. It’s located with in a midsize plaza in Arcadia. They had to go under brand modification from Tapioca to Bon Appetea Café. Most of their tea drinks remained the same but added a few drinks to their menu. Similarly, new food items were added as well. Atmosphere was cool and relaxing. Interior was well lit, organized and spacious. Outdoor patio has similar vibe with good street view. Prices were fair. Staff were amiable and followed health protocol. Service was on point. Free Wifi available. Finding a parking space was easy. Overall, I always find this tea café reliable and I recommend it.

Ordered a taro milk tea with 75% sugar and less ice. Came out just right, sweetness and ice were great. The taste was refreshing and quite smooth. Cup size was decent amount. Pretty cozy interior with several chairs and long cushion seating, very chill place for socializing or tackling some work. And there’s a wall too for photo ops.
