Ordered delivery, it took about 10 minutes to get here and in that time the soup was cold and the macaroni was obviously as well. In fact the Mac and cheese is obviously old and congealed. Wouldn’t know how the fries were that we ordered because they didn’t include them. The three piece fish came with only two pieces. Really disappointed, won’t be coming back.

We ordered 3 catfish combos and some fried mushrooms and while the fish was good, everything else was not. Mac and cheese had no flavor, potato salad was very sweet, fried mushrooms were undercooked. Curly fries were good and the hush puppies were ok. If we were to go back, I would order only the fish by the pound.

Well… I have eaten here plenty of times, get fish by the pound it’s so good! Today I walked in at the hillegas location and they have a tv screen with the prices on it. 12.95 for 1 lb of fish & 4.95 for calamari. Maybe I didn’t notice it before but while I was waiting for my order I remembered seeing 28$ pop up on the register. I did leave a 10% tip for a carry out order as well.. so I opened my bank app and seen I was charged 28$. While looking at the menu again when my food was ready it did in fact say 12.95$ for 1lb. So I asked about it and I was kindly referred to the paper menu sitting on the counter that showed 16$ lb now Thats a $3.05 difference. That kind of price increase doesn’t happen overnight. How long have I been getting duped into thinking I was paying 12.95?? I don’t know but you have been probably getting duped too if you notice, it’s so easy just to swipe your card and forget about it. BIG EYED FISH Just fix your prices on your tv it can’t be that hard. I might be back. I might not. The girl working the cash register seen me clearly looking at the tv menu. If it’s not right just say something to your customers or turn it off.

Fish and tartar sauce are good. Service is questionable. Called to place a carry out order was asked if I could hold, which was ok. Problem was that the phone was put down and forgotten and not picked up until I’d arrived and let the person at the counter know she could hang it up. That was a good 10 or 15 minutes after I’d placed the call. No apology beyond a half hearted ‘sorry bout that’.

Aug 15th fish was way overcooked, look how brown it is! The coleslaw was extremely watery and the mac n cheese was very bland. it was our first time VERY disappointing would not recommend

First time coming here and ordered the special, Blue Gill platter. Ordered the fish lightly breaded, tried the hush puppies and never go wrong with green beans! The Blue Gill was cooked to perfection. Seasoned lovely and totally enjoyed. I can’t wait to go back. I can’t believe I haven’t before now.
Wonderful customer service too!!

First of all, shame on me for not getting fish from a fish place. Busy day at work so we got an order to go for the office. Mine was a ham sandwich. TERRIBLE! One measly slice from a cheap lunch meat package. The whole sandwich couldn’t have cost them 25 cents. Called and left on hold until I hung up. Just a joke!
