As an out-of-towner, one wouldn’t expect to come across an Italian place in a small town in the Midwest. But a strong desire for some pasta led us to the this lovely little restaurant here on the Historic Front Street.

We each had the Spaghetti Marinara, the “Frank Sinatra” (Pasta with alfredo and shrimp) and the Chicken Soup. I had the Chicken Soup and it was such a treat on a brisk November night. My family loved their dishes as well.

The atmosphere was quaint. If you happen to come here on a date or dining on your own, this place would be an ideal spot. The portions were generous and cooked to perfection.

Please stop by here when you visit Dodge City if you feel the need for something different.

We love Bella Italia! Our family eats here quite often. The Alfredo is always good! They also make amazing lasagna! Always so good!

Food is homemade and servings are large and priced to be very affordable. Disco & Rap music spoiled my dining experience here. They need to understand that calm music is proper for meals. Everything else was terrific. The interior is decorated very nicely.

Food quality was splendid. Service was wonderful. Drinks were great. Great atmosphere. Extremely clean and tastefully decorated restaurant. Prices very reasonable for the quality. Worth the try, especially if you are passing through town. Time frame we were there, we were the only two (around 7pm). It appears to be some carry out and more patrons came in later.

The breadsticks were great! My husband got the pepperoni calzone that he loved. I got the penne fungi, it was fine, but I would not get it again. Service was very slow but overall we would give it another shot.

Where do I begin…let’s start with our server, sweet but clueless about the menu as if she never ate the food, every question we had about the entree she couldn’t answer her response was “ I don’t know or I’m not sure!” Then the young lady cashier/ bartender was laughing the whole time and speaking Spanish as if I didn’t understand. Now the food smh! Bruschetta was good not great calamari overcooked and overpriced very little portion, I ordered the fettuccine w/ chicken and shrimp, it wasn’t bad just bland grilled chicken was hard the shrimp was the best thing on there, husband ordered the dean martin couldn’t tell you what flavor it was going for but bless his heart he was hungry. He been driving for 6+ hours and we just wanted something other than truck stop food but given the experience we had we would have been better off with that so that should tell you something. Thank goodness we are just passing through I’m ALL for mom and pop home cooked restaurant support locals but my goodness be better stand out especially with Italian food it’s my favorite!
-Very disappointed

8-22-24 pm. Ordered chicken parmigiana. Was asked bread or salad. I questioned what type of bread i.e. white, rye, toast, french, garlic. The lady looked at me like she did not understand. This went back and forth for a few rounds. She motioned a gentleman to come for help. Same response from him. Finally they had me talk into his phone for translation. Choice was garlic bread sticks. (By the way I am from south Louisiana so maybe that was the problem?) The chicken was very crispy under the breading and hard to cut and chew. Server asked what problem was. I explained and asked for spaghetti and meatballs instead. She seemed confused so she called the guy over, explained all over again. Brought spaghetti and placed down and asked is it good. Said well I haven’t tried it yet. Meatballs were luke warm and sauce watery. Will post pictures. Do not recommend these 2 dishes.

The food was horrible. My child got food poisoning from the undercooked pizza and possibly old cheese. He started projectile vomiting not even 30 min after we left and had multiple bouts of upset stomach for roughly 2 full days after we ate here. Couldn’t even keep water down. Definitely never going back. ( My bland pasta, too much sauce having pasta in the picture, with a glimpse of his pizza)

On this visit to Dodge City we chose to eat here. The server was a little slow at first we were about to leave. Once they finally came to the table they took care of us fine. We asked if the Parmigiana came with spagetti since it didn’t specify on the menu and were told yes, but then it came with pene noodles so that was a little disappointing. But overall it was good tasting food. We all ordered different items off the menu. I did enjoy the complimentary bread sticks those were very good!

I will start of by saying the service was good and attentive. We had the Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Carbinara and the Stephanie all with Ceasar Salads and breadsticks. I could handle the poor tasting and microwaved food better had the restaurant at least been clean, however the table cloths and placemats were not changed, just dusted off. You could see the sauce of who knows how many diners prior to your visit. The oil and vinegar bottles were filthy, however the dishes the food was served on appeared clean. Speaking of food– the Carbonara was unedible, the Chicken in all dishes tasted microwaved, the Stephanie was supposed to be a “baked” pasta, pretty sure it was microwaved, the cheese had not been browned. The breadsticks hard, dry, old and tasteless, the salads were only iceburg Lettuce with a ton of dressing and a weird amount of water set in the bottom of the salad bowl. I could tell when I walked in that no one in the restaurant was enjoying themselves and I should’ve left, but I was craving pasta. I would have been better off ordering pasta from Domino’s.
