We have in past enjoyed the food here. For some reason the Mediterranean veggie didn’t have the same good taste. May be it was an exception that day! The other sandwich in photo was ok. Tomato soup was fine.

I’ve been a loyal MyPanera (Sip Club) member for years, and I usually enjoy Panera. But what happened today at the Rolling Meadows (1321 Golf Rd) location was truly disappointing.

The issue wasn’t the bagel — it was the way I was treated. The staff were extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I asked politely for assistance, no one looked at me, no one tried to help. I went to the register and spoke to Kate, a team member, and she didn’t even look at me — just said, “There’s no one to talk to.”

I later called the store and spoke with the manager, who also wasn’t kind or empathetic. Instead of apologizing or showing concern, she just repeated, “It’s our policy, it’s our rule,” and said she’d “talk to the team” but couldn’t do anything now.

I was left standing there, feeling completely invisible and helpless. No one at any point said something simple like “I’m sorry you had that experience” or “How can we make this right?”

This is not the Panera I know. No customer should ever be made to feel ignored, disrespected, or unseen. I truly hope Panera leadership looks into this location and ensures that basic kindness and professionalism are part of their customer service.

I have the unlimited sip club subscription, so I stopped for a cup of coffee. App wouldn’t give me the option for drive through so I went in. Ample parking. Store layout is nice.
Usually there drink service station is by the door, at this location it was more to the back.
Got my coffee ☕ and was on my way.

I was waiting for a while I. The drive through. Wondering why. Then as I pull up five people are just standing around and talking. I go back through the drive through because I wanted more dressing. They all ask each other what dressing they needed. I get handled what looks like hummus. I told him no it’s dressing. So he hands me the wrong one again. I pull over park and walk my salad and the wrong dressing in. Show the girl. She wasn’t sure what dressing it was either. Then she gets a manager named Brad. He comes over and says no actually that’s not the name of the salad. Walks away to grab the dressing rolls his eyes at the employee about me and then comes back and corrects me again about the salad. I said nothing and walked out. Very disrespectful along with unprofessional behavior. People also need to know what is on what salad. Also not stand around and talk and actually work. Nit happy at all.

My son is sick, so go to Panera to get lunch, we order a 2 for me and a kids grilled cheese along with a soup. They all are supposed to come with bread, guess what? NO BREAD. What makes even more frustrating is that Panera isn’t cheap so we basically got scammed. At least the food was good so I didn’t give you 1 star.

Bagel was barely toasted, quality was worse than a grocery store bagel. I can’t believe that that small bagel is 300 calories, must be full of sugar. Shedding sesame seeds everywhere. Egg wasn’t even seasoned. Cheese was melted to snot like consistency. Ham was cheapest deli ham imaginable, literally pulled out of the package and slapped on the bagel. Served on a giant plate for no reason. If I’d paid retail for each item, the grocery store bagel was worth maybe $1.00, egg was $.25, ham was $.75, cheese was $.75. And with tax I paid $8. For what? Ambiance? A bathroom with no toilet paper that hasn’t been renovated since 1995? Awful and shameful value.

Lauren at this location is the definition of customer service. DoorDash was at fault for their poor delivery service and Lauren still went above and beyond for me and remade my entire order and contacted DoorDash herself to request a new driver. She communicated with me and ensured I got my order. Did way more than DoorDash did for me that’s for sure!

I ordered chicken noodle soup via Uber eats. There are 4 carrots, 2 noodles and one piece of chicken in this bowl of soup!! I’m hoping maybe someone is new and didn’t scoop all the way from the bottom of the pot?! Everytime I give Panera another chance, they suck!
