Tim’s Too is one of those unique places where you don’t know what to expect, but you think you know, and then it ends up being something totally different!
This is essentially a DIY hibachi grill. They give you bowls, you take the bowls to the buffet, fill it with stuff you like, and put it on the counter for the chef to grill on a huge platter. I think he was doing like 8-10 different meals at once, which was amazing.
The food was good! The appetizers were not they are pre-made and either a bit microwaved or meet a cruel fate in the toaster oven, but they should be avoided. I think it would 1000% better if the could figure out how to make them themselves.
Lots of unique bottled soda options. The unsweetened iced tea was not flavorful, it was too light for me but I enjoy the bite of bitterness, so I’m probably the most extreme opinion on that.
They did a great job catering to my disabled grandma who came with us in a wheelchair and my deaf cousin who needed extra time to understand the menu. They do reserve tables if you call, so I would recommend saving your seats in advance if you have a decent sized party coming in!
They have a great restaurant, and that would only make it so much better! The owners are super involved which is nice, so I am hoping they hear me out on the appetizer suggestion lol … but I won’t take it to heart if you don’t

My group and I truly enjoyed our experience at the location. The owner happened to be there, and his customer service was impeccable as well. It feels different when you are really welcomed into an establishment. We were not familiar with the process of ordering. He took his time and went through the different options and suggestions, which made us feel a bit more comfortable with filling up our bowls. We had a great time.
Our food was amazing. There were so many different combinations available. We will definitely be back soon.

I can say I am not sure exactly WHAT I expected, but this exceeded whatever I had in mind. Super friendly owner, very active in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was awesome. You choose your protein, starches, veggies and sauces. You can sample the sauces so you know exactly what youre getting. Flavors were great! Wish we lived closer so we could Come more often. See you next year!

My Husband and I came here on Christmas Eve. It was our first time at this restaurant. I compare it to flat top grill in how it all works. The food is so much better though. We enjoyed it so much. We brought the kids back a couple weeks later and it is the new favorite. We will definitely be back. The only thing I didn’t like was the canned mai tai. As far as food goes, it’s pretty delicious.

This is essentially a mini Mongolian barbecue. It’s kind of fun. If you haven’t been you should. Everyone gets to load their own bowl and the cooking is done on a large round grill in the open. You can watch if you would like. Brnk extra bills for the cook’s tip! The cook is very careful to clean the grill if you indicate your bowl is vegetarian, vegan or allergy. The atmosphere is very casual. It’s a good choice in that everyone can pick what they want in their bowl and there are vegetarian and vegan options. The downsides are of course it is a buffet and it is honestly a bit overly greasy but that’s just this style of food. They cook it well. And it always turns out tasty no matter what you mix together. The roti is a fun touch. The inside of the restaurant needs some TLC. The lighting is poor and they could use a stronger vent hood over the grill. The bathroom in particular is in need of reno and looks very grungy.

Cute and fun little economical restaurant with healthier choices of food. We have walked by Tim’s Too many times and it never seemed crowded, so we figured it couldn’t be that great and didn’t go in. But…they have a back room which is prettier, quieter, and was much more occupied when we stopped in, which gives the illusion of less diners in the front. We decided we needed some vegetables after a Thanksgiving weekend of indulgence and filled our bowls with the healthy, fresh choices. The owner recommended some sauces for us, based on our spice tolerance and the meal turned out delicious. We will be back and will bring our grandkids as they will love the noodles!

I’ve probably been here a million times in the last few months, it’s a really great place! The price is also very reasonable, even when it’s busy I usually get my food pretty quickly, staff is always very nice. Can’t wait to go another million times!
