Someone else had mentioned the scones which is why I got one this morning. I had the blueberry lemon, and this is quite possibly the best scone I’ve ever had. There really is a taste difference when it’s made fresh with 100% organic ingredients. I’ve had their coffee before as well and you can’t beat housemade flavorings. I’ll be back again and again and again.

My favorite hometown coffee shop with every attention to detail: the coffee, the recipes used with quality ingredients, the service, the furnishings, the music (once in a blue moon Keith plays incredible live guitar), the WiFi, the outside seating, even the parking, the flow in, around and out. I have yet to use the drive-thru but that misses the mark of a coffee shop experience.

What a great little coffee house. My wife enjoyed an iced coffee drink while I enjoyed a hot coffee and both were very good. I even indulged in a couple of cookies that were made with very clean and quality ingredients.
Staff was very friendly and attentive.
I plan to visit again when back in the area.
NOTE: They seem to be the ONLY coffee shop in the area open past 2pm.

Pleasant atmosphere. Several folk there at the time of my visit. Some appeared to be conducting business, one seemed to be offering training to a group of 2 or 3. Others were merely typing on their laptops, whether for business or personal matters, I do not know. There were also people just conversing with an acquaintance. In each case, everyone seemed satisfied with their Openroad experience. The coffee was delicious, as also was the food. All of it was reasonably priced and fresh. Very popular place, judging from the flow of customers and the overall jovial countenance of each one.

Atmosphere, GREAT! Service, GOOD! Food….it tasted okay, but for the price that we paid per sandwich I wish we would have gotten the FULL sandwich. We ordered to go so when we opened our order boxes, and I was so disappointed. It was half a sandwich…it was literally so small. Both of them… Please make the prices reflect what we get…

The perfect place to chat with a friend or read/write. The music has been spot on, relaxing and not too loud. The environment is quiet for a coffee shop.
I love the simplicity of the interior design. Plenty of seating. This place does get busy in the morning but it’s worth waiting in line (or their drive through). Would 100% recommend their breakfast sandwichs/biscuits. The coffee is so smooth. My go to is the lavender matcha latte, but I’m also a huge fan of their chai tea lattes.
Love coming here when I’m visiting this area of NC. Can’t wait to come back!

Good hot cocoa, turkey/avocado sandwich had microscopic amounts of avocado, other items were decent. But $40 for 2 prepackaged sandwiches, a cocoa and 2 cookies seems excessive especially with nothing priced. We won’t come back.

This coffee shop is one of our favorites. My wife and I go there as often as we can from Inman. Tonight she had a caramel latte and I had a Chai latte, and both were so good, and hot! The staff are always friendly and helpful, the inside is really comfy, and the drive thru is fantastic. We liked their message on the drive thru menu that gave credit to the Creator as well! Highly recommend!!

The raspberry scones are amazing, and if you like to taste coffee in your blended drinks then this place is the best! Absolutely recommend this place, it’s amazing! Currently their ice maker is broken so it took a little longer for our blended coffee, but they were really nice and informative about it. Still give them 5 stars because that’s only temporary!
