We have been here for a year and everything has been excellent. Meats are grilled to perfection, lamb shanks are just the right amount of tenderness, flavors are always so spot on, the side dishes are flavorful and the bread is always fresh. If I were to move from the DMV then I would gladly travel back here to eat their food.

Absolutely incredible experience! The food was rich in authentic Afghani flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. This is my absolute favorite Afghan kabob spot in the DMV. The BEST hospitable service, food always on point and big portions! They don’t cram everything in one to go box- they give you your side separate- the kabob is always juicy and tasty- and the chapli kabob is my all time favorite. Really love this place!

I have been coming to this establishment for 4yrs now. A friend stopped by here and grabbed food before the club and she let me have some, and I have been coming back ever since. It’s family owned too which is wonderful. This place has the BEST lamb kabob on the east coast! I have been to about 8 businesses in this state alone and none have come close. Their chickpeas side are incredible. And my favorite platter to get is the Lamb & Fish combo. I dream about this food! lol. I don’t get to come as often as I live deep in NW DC so traffic can make the trip an easy hour drive. But on payday I like to make this trip because I honestly can’t get enough of it. The lamb has no chewy fat lingering, the fish is juicy and well seasoned, the tandoori bread is one of my favorite, and the chickpeas are well cooked and seasoned with a little spicy kick. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else for traditional afghani food.

The lamb shanks and lamb kebabs are to die for, bursting with unique and delicious flavors that keep me coming back. Samy, in particular, always goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. His attention to detail and customer service is outstanding.
