Had a veggie omelette for breakfast after staying the night at Baird Memorial Campground. It was great, lots of food and very fast. They offer free unlimited fries but I didn’t need any more food!

The wait….. Oh Mah Gawd! Over an hour each time I go. Last time, was 1.5 hours for a poutine. Frys were VERY overdone gravy was cold, and cheese tasted like cheap no name. Usually the food is acceptable to good, but I think that will be my last. Visit! PA needs a resturant, one with GOOD customer service! Seems there is no good place (other than carls) to eat. No customer service at all in this town! Sad really.

This place is has gotten worst we have only been a handful of times but this last time we went we waited 2 hours for food and it wasn’t even busy, apparently the waitress mentioned to us that the owners order a huge take out order and this is why the wait was so extensive. The poor waitress was very new she was running around the place as there a mess on the tables from other customers she informed me she was new and eas very sympathetic about the wait time, also when we did get our good finally it was pretty much too the point of being frozen again as it was so cold. My recommendations is stay clear if your looking to not spend atleast 3 hours there to order and eat. Also we were a group of 4 with an infant on top of that. Our tummies didn’t feel so well after eating be careful I wouldn’t eat there until management decides to make some changes.

This is a good old fashion family restaurant with canadien food on the menu.
The portion are generous and well cook (something that we could call laking in many places, but here its not a problem!).
I had the opportunity to try one of their burgers. You get a juicy patty of about 3/4 of an inch thick with fresh ingredients.
The sides are generous and well cooked. I ordered the sweet potato fries and my wife onion rings. Both had more then we needed, and it was delicious.
This is an excellent stop if you are on the road with your family.

My fiance and I ordered food to go from there yesterday. When we went to pick it up, my fiance and I paid for our meals separately. They charged me way more than what I actually should’ve paid, and did not give me a receipt. I called back, and the lady working there (some old lady who’s name I don’t know), the woman who took our orders was being really rude with me, and I did not get a refund or anything. I will not be going back there anymore.
