Our meal at Leclere was superb! We were there on September 7, 2017. Before our trip to France we had carefully selected all the restaurants we wanted to experience, including restaurants with Michelin stars, and among them all Leclere was one of our best meals. The food was fresh, delicious, and innovative – eating it was like being one of the lucky people dining on food on BravoTV’s Top Chef series in the US. Every single dish was mouthwateringly good. And the experience itself was lovely; there was just one waiter serving the restaurant inside *and* the terrace outside, and though all our dishes were served at just the right times, at no point did he ever seem rushed. He took the time to talk with us and was very accommodating of my gluten allergy, which I know can be a great nuisance to a chef. (It certainly is to me!) Note for other Americans: he spoke excellent English though he was also kind enough to speak French with me despite my limited vocabulary. A wonderful experience!

Great food but terrible service. For a one Michelin star restaurant, I certainly expected better. There is no menu per se, with each day a ‘surprise’ menu given to the guests. This was great, with all dishes delicious and some truly stand out ones. What was really disappointing was the service, with dirty dishes and wine glasses not cleared away. Wine not topped up nor new bottles suggested and overall poor inattentive service. Could be great but was rather overall good. Great food but prepare to be disappointed by the service
