There is simply no way one cannot love Cosmic Cantina!! It’s been a Triangle staple for 30 years now, and it gets better and better as the decades go by. Despite us being vegetarian, there are SO MANY fantastic choices, especially their vegetarian chorizo. Our favorites are the Deluxe Vegetarian Nachos with Chorizo, the Spinach and Mushroom Quesadillas, and the Veggie Chimichanga. But seriously, get anything here and you can’t go wrong. And do not miss the spicy salsa – it’s the bomb!! Love this place and already looking forward to going again.

I’ve been a loyal Cosmic Cantina fan for years, and I’m absolutely loving the new location and its fantastic ambiance! It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming and vibrant space.
The food continues to impress, especially the vegan platter, which is consistently delicious. And let’s talk about the guacamole – hands down the best I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant, anywhere! And the horchata! Just order it!!
What truly sets Cosmic Cantina apart, though, is their incredible team. The staff is always friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful, making every visit a joy. Cosmic Cantina remains a top choice for amazing food and a wonderful dining experience!

The food was below average for a west coast gringo, but maybe a step above chipotle but not mind blowing. The staff was great. Atmosphere fits for a burrito joint in a college town.

For the price, this is hands down the best place to get something to eat. It will fill you up and leave you with leftovers. The food here is great and so are the staff members. I had wanted to do some last second modifications on my food after it was ordered and they were kind enough to change it on the fly.

I was disappointed with the attitude here. The water cup they gave me was sticky, so I politely asked for another one. The staff told me “they’re all the same” and sounded impatient, as if asking for a clean, non-sticky cup was unreasonable. They eventually handed me a plastic cup and even said they were “supposed to charge” for it but would give it to me for free, like they were doing me a favor.
This is absurd. How about making sure the cups are clean in the first place? Basic hygiene and respectful service should not be too much to ask.

Hey, it’s on the main drag of a college town — probably fine for college students, but we were visiting from California, so I suppose we expected more. The chicken quesadilla was dry and rather bland. The steak burrito was mushy from too much beans.
