I’m a local and have been going here off and on for about seven years. I really like their food, and the prices are very reasonable. Compared to other beach spots, they don’t hit you with inflated “tourist” pricing.
My favorite dish is the fried shrimp—it’s honestly better than what you get at Red Lobster. My wife really enjoys their burgers and fries. The staff is great as well, though they can get extremely busy when people rush in right before closing.
My only suggestion would be to post their operating hours. I’ve never seen a sign showing their days and hours, and it would be helpful to know when they’re open.

What a find! After spending the morning on Venice Beach we set out to find somewhere to grab a bite for lunch and stumbled across this little place. Location wise it’s great – literally right on the beach next to the car park. There’s plenty of seating with great views and a wide choice of menu options. Whilst the food options are basic, each order is cooked fresh and I can highly recommend the hotdog! The lady that served us was lovely – definitely will be visiting again when we’re in the area.

Stopped by this food shack since it was right on the beach. Great little area. The food was great. The service was appalling. Was here with a group of friends, was the second to order in our group. Our friends ahead of us got yelled at for not being fast enough to pick up their smoothies. They ran to rinse feet off and she kept yelling and then was very rude to them when they picked up their smoothies. It was our turn to order and the lady disappeared. After about 5 minutes she came back and pointed to a gentleman two people behind us and said he was the last one that could order for the day. Problem here there was still one more gentleman that was behind the other. She picked some random person to stop serving food to and told the person in the back he could order chips, drinks, or ice cream no food. How do you not serve everyone that was in line and stop it after that? I was in shock. She then took our order. She read my order back to us and I paid. She was trying to multitask so I walked away and had my son wait for the receipt for our number. She thought I was walking away and threw a fit and threw away my ticket. My son then just pulled his hand away and we walked away. We waited for a bit realized all the people behind us had gotten their food. Went up to the pick up window to check in and she said “you walked away without your ticket” I said and my son was waiting and you threw it away while he was patiently waiting for it. “I didn’t see him” I then said regardless you don’t treat people like that. She then acted like she wasn’t going to serve us because we walked away without our ticket. The other lady came from the back and asked what we ordered and I told her and she was like well mam you only paid for one smoothie. I said she reread my order to me and it was correct but I’m happy to pay for the second. I walked away and she made a snark comment that I would have known if I would have got my ticket, but as mentioned earlier she didn’t give it to me. They were so bugged and knew they were in the wrong. Still tried to make it my fault and treated us so poorly. I’m still just surprised how much they both acted like they hated their job. They had such a terrible attitude to be serving customers. Came on here to see if others have had the same experience and sounds like it’s a reoccurring issue. My guess is they are the owners because some of those bad reviews date back up to 10 years ago! Wow wow wow! Looks like the city needs to look into this. They need to learn to treat people with respect if they are business owners. Otherwise don’t run a food business that you have to work with people on the daily. Take that business license away from such terrible people. End of rant. Hope this review can help people see that they too aren’t alone.

Best concession stand hot dog, EVER! Although, my husband preferred the grilled cheese, I could eat their dogs all day long. Prices are really good, the staff is very friendly and accomodating!

Beach concession stands aren’t usually good, but I tell ya, this one is awesome. The food is cooked to orders, so it’s fresh, hot, and very good. Plus, now that you can drink on the beach, we can get alcoholic drinks here!
