The food is amazing! It has an authentic Thai flavor (which is really hard to find). The owner is so kind and represents Thai hospitality perfectly; it made me feel so warm and right at home. The restaurant is nice and clean—perfect for family time. They even have some special menu items!

Clean, comfortable restaurant in a strip mall. Quiet on a rainy night. Big menu. Food was fresh and tasty. Nothing was spicy. Server was friendly and efficient. Our group liked the drunken noodles and pad Thai. The kale dish was good. Busier with take-out than eat-in (which is what I’d do to avoid being subjected to fox on the TV).

Truly a great restaurant to enjoy delicious Thai food! Very pleased with our choices. Started off with “YaYa’s Orange-Glazed wings” and “Thai Veggie Roll-ups”. Both were very tasty. The “Red Curry Bowl” with shrimp and the “Tom Yum Soup” with chicken were ‘souper’ delicious! The place is small but it was nicely decorated. Great service too!

Sabaid,Swasdi ! As soon as you walk in, it’s just like walking into my adopted mom’s house or a nice building near the temples in Couteau, Louisiana for Laos New Year. Food is close to moms cooking, great service, whoever chose the interior decoration is on point. I can see a few parties happening here. Decent parking & police station is down the road so no problems if someone starts mess.

Yaya’s Thai Street Fusion is a hidden gem in New Orleans! The roti with massaman curry is a standout, with the massaman curry achieving the perfect blend of flavors. The stir-fry kale with pork belly might just be the best Asian pork belly dish in the city—crispy, savory, and absolutely delicious. The Pad Thai and golden pork roll-up are also excellent choices. Don’t let the restaurant’s exterior deceive you; despite being located inside Skybrew Bar, Yaya’s delivers an authentic and delightful culinary experience. Highly recommend ordering to-go for a convenient and tasty meal at home!
Update:
Excited to see YaYa Thai Restaurant open a new location on Veterans Blvd! The food is a delicious mix of Thai and Chinese flavors — fresh, flavorful, and made with care. It’s great to have another local spot bringing authentic taste and friendly service to the area. Let’s all support small local businesses like this! And if you’re in nearby Kenner, don’t forget to check out The Original Italian Pie for amazing New Orleans–style pizza, calzones, and salads. Two great local gems worth visiting!

Really excellent Thai, the basil combo with combo pork and beef + a fried egg was a standout but everything was really good

This is a new location for this excellent Thai restaurant. The ambiance is very nice and enjoyable. The food we tried in our first visit was a Cashew Chicken dish. It was totally different from other versions of that dish elsewhere. We also tried the Green Curry Chicken that had a delicious rich broth. We are fans of Thai and love that we found this hidden gem. Look for it at Vets and Kansas Ave. in the corner of a small strip mall.
Good service. Reasonable prices. Recommended.

I enjoyed my very delicious lunch at YaYa’s today. It shares a building with a bar, but the restaurant seating area is separate and very cheerful. Service was prompt and friendly, and I was easily able to finish lunch in an hour.

The appetizers were amazing. I recommend the chilli shrimp and the blanket shrimp. I got the orange chicken and it was pretty good. My mom got the steak and it was very tough.
