I had an amazing experience at Ambo NYC! I tried the Chicken Tikka Bowl along with 2 naans, crispy samosas, their signature mango lassi, and hot chai — every single item was packed with flavor and tasted so fresh.

The spices were perfectly balanced, the portion size was generous, and the vibe of the place was super welcoming. The mango lassi was rich and refreshing, and the chai felt like a warm hug at the end.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Desi Indian flavors. Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!

Absolutely love Ambo Everyday Indian Food. The bowls are packed with flavor and the spice is dialed in perfectly. Everything tastes fresh, balanced, and satisfying, with that ideal heat level that builds without overwhelming the food.

My personal favorite is the Chicken Tikka Naan Taco, which is honestly unforgettable. The chicken is tender and richly seasoned, the sauce hits all the right notes, and the naan brings it all together in the best way.

You can also feel that this is a family-owned place. The team is genuinely friendly, accommodating, and consistently nice, which makes every visit easy and enjoyable. If you are anywhere nearby, do not miss it.

I love that we could customize our own bowl from their extensive selection of fresh ingredients. Choose from an array of tantalizing mains, delectable sides, and scrumptious toppings. Don’t forget to pair it with their flavorful samosas, crispy tacos, or warm naan. To top it all off, sip on their refreshing homemade mango lassi that perfectly complements every bite.

They also offer excellent catering services for special events, all while being served by their friendly staff.

I was definitely skeptical of the concept first but this place is really worth it.
Every single item in the build your own bowl was good. Especially the chicken, it was very juicy and fresh. The Chana masala and cauliflower both were good with the base of turmeric rice. Don’t forget to add the gravy sauce on top. The quantity is good and overall it is quite heavy.
Also got the samosa, which was again tasty.
A great stop overall.
