Came in around 2:30 on 01/23/2026 and had a GREAT experience! My pal and I were the only ones in the restaurant so the waitress Madison was very personable. Great smile, great conversationalist. Food was also excellent! Compliments to the chef. The manager Maddi checked us out and was excellent as well. Two great ladies running the restaurant, will be back for sure.

It was nice, to stop and eat here. Although, I felt the pancakes were too dark. I could’ve spoke on that. But, it’s ok. I was, just hungry and on the go. I still, enjoyed everything else as always.
Bob Evans, was my childhood grew up on it. It is, deeply missed by many.

We went on December 6th. 2025 after the Christmas Parade for a family sit down dinner that wasn’t overcrowded. Two of our party went ahead of us to get a table. We arrived approximately 5-10 mins later. We waited for 30 minutes after our entire party of 6 had arrived and still had not seen a waitstaff to take any form of order, drinks or otherwise. I went to the restroom and on my way I asked the checkout person how much longer it would be before someone one came to our table because we had already been waiting 30 minutes and hadn’t even gotten to place drink orders. He went to go check. Another 10 minutes later and finally a lady, whom I believe was the manager, came and told our server had quit and asked what she could do for us, not can I take your order or anything else. At this point we had already stated to get up and put on our coats to go elsewhere. While I understand that employees quitting abruptly in the middle of a shift isn’t planned I do feel the manager should have been more attentive to what was going on in her restaurant. I had not seen her at all up until the point of telling us our server quit. During past visit there the managers have always made an effort to visit each table at least once. The place wasn’t busy at all. Maybe 6 other tables. Another table even commented on how we hadn’t received any service what so ever after being seated. They had been there a while too an had only received drinks that took them a while to receive.

Not the best experience. Lights in parking lot were not on. We weren’t sure they were even open. Only 5 tables , (12 people) ncluding us in restaurant. We were sat on the porch. We both ordered the turkey dinner. It is servered with dressing, mash potatoes, carrots and roll or banana bread. When server brought our food we were given hash browns instead of carrots?? Told her we didn’t order that. The dinner comes with carrots. She told us “no it comes with hash browns. We told her to check the menu. She asked, What did we want her to do,?” Take the hash browns and get carrots. Five minutes later she did bring us carrots. The dressing and gravy were both cold. We had to ask twice for a drink refill. Two tables away, had the same waitress and their order was messed up too. Burger was not done. And they didn’t get what they ordered either. The manager came to their table. Apologized and said she had a young crew. She never came to our table. A good manager knowing she had a young crew should have checked all her tables. Especially with only 5 tables to check. I went to pay bill. The cashier asked how everything was. I told her the issues we had. She said I gave you 20 % off. I thanked her. Then she said my total and it was the same. No discount?? She said, oh sorry she had the wrong table. Another table had problems too and they got a discount. I said okay …… we had problems too! She never got the manager or offered to get the manager. So the only thing I can do is alert customers to beware of the Princeton, IN Bob Evans. They have an unlighted parking lot. The service is poor. They don’t know the menu. Food is not hot. And manager is not concerned about ALL their guest.

We came in at about 5:40 pm. It was kinda busy but no biggie. I used to serve and work here so I know how it is. We sat for 15 before being greeted while the table next to use got sat after us and was greeted immediately they got their drink order and their food order before we even got our drinks ordered pretty much. We didn’t get checked on once it took an hour to get our food I’ve never had this bad of an experience here. The server had no customer service and for the first time in my life I did not tip. It was ridiculous and I to k this will be our last time coming. I ALs got an appetizer and we didn’t receive that until our food came.

Princeton, Indiana location has outstanding customer service. The wait staff were all great. The food came out quickly and exactly as it was ordered. This restaurant is kept very clean. There is plenty of parking in their large parking lot. It is really easy to find using Google Maps as it is just west of U.S. 41. Breakfast was great and the coffe cup will never be empty.

Ordered the Hickory-Smoked Ham Farmhouse Feast – Serves 8 on 12/20 online. Pickup 12/24 at 4pm. We decided to eat there also so we ordered and then ate then informed our waiter about the online order. He brought out our order and I looked at the receipt and didn’t think a thing of it. Until we got home and unpacked. We noticed nothing that we had ordered was in the bag. We called just as they closed for the night, Christmas Eve. We are 45 minutes from the restaurant. So our Christmas Dinner is ruined. But grateful we at least have food.

Came in like we normally do on a Monday morning our waitress usually has us all ready to go with our creamers and silverware.. When we was seated we asked for our normal server. Was told she was no longer employed.
Our waitress today was not the best I believe her name started with a M. Didn’t introduce herself seems she was upset that we asked for our normal server. Asked if she knew what happened and was told she was a problem that had to go?? Never got refills on coffee waited on our bannana bread and ended up leaving without it.
I dont know what kinda problem you had with your normal Monday morning server she was the sweetest lady was always smiling and very polite.
To say we won’t be back is rude but I think we will venture out and find a few different places to get our breakfast. Good luck Bob Evans work on your manners..
