I love this place! It has a cozy feel, the service was excellent, and the food was so good. We got the shrimp cocktail, chicken chili rellano, and shrimp quesadilla, and everything was perfect.

Stopped a little off the highway to grab dinner before going to Winstar for a concert. We always grab dinner in Gainesville and we usually try something different each time we stop. We have now found our go to restaurant to eat at pre-show. Only about a mile off 35 in a strip shopping center. Owner was lovely and food delicious! We’ll be back!

Tonight we did not venture too far from home. After a long week we wanted to be able to get back home quickly to relax. It seemed like a perfect night to go to Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant. We had not been there in a long time so it seemed like the perfect time to go.
It is a seat yourself restaurant so we quickly found the perfect spot. We were greeted right away by Kyle. Kyle took great care of us all evening.
They started us out with chips and salsa. Aimee said the salsa was good. Aimee ordered the chicken fajitas with rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo on the side. The chicken was seasoned well and tasted very fresh. The guacamole was pretty tasty. All the sides were enjoyed as well.
Mike ordered the trio (shrimp, chicken, and steak) fajitas with no veggies. It was all very flavorful and he made sure there was nothing left.
This is another great local spot to add to your list of places to support. Thank you all so much for supporting small local businesses.

Don’t give its outside appearance a second thought. Though it’s in an outdated stripmall, the food is first class. The food is incredible and the service is fantastic. It’s our new “go to” spot.

Very good food. Prices are a little high but the food was great. I sadly didn’t see any taco Tuesday specials offered the day we went. The decorations were very overwhelming and hazardous. There was an outlet filled with cords at a back table. Not safe for customers or employees. Take out would be a good option if you have sensory issues. Overall great food and service.

Contrary to popular belief this undoubtedly Tex-Mex The brisket tacos are actually burritos since they are served on flour tortillas. An authentic Mexican taco is served on a corn tortilla minus the cheddar cheese. If you want a real Mexican style brisket taco ask for it on corn tortillas with cilantro, raw onions, no cheese, with a side of limes. My enchiladas were fine with likeable beans and rice. The sopipillas are a great finally.
