Came here after being recommended by a local. I came in from NC to visit my grandmother and we stopped in to get food from here. Sadly I was not moved by the taste of the overly priced food, nor was I happy about the customer service that I received. I get that you cater but you also service plates, which you should work on doing meal prices instead of charging each thing individually. Will definitely not be coming back here. For that price I would have expected better quality and kindness which goes a long way seeing that I wasn’t rude at all, and a first time customer.

I ordered, from L & W Catering, to have plates delivered to my family member. I ordered for two days…lunch & dinner. The orders were on time, fresh & hot. If feels good to know I can get food to my family member when I need to and not have to worry about it getting there…as ordered.

It was delicious, and I just had to leave a review. I see a lot of complaints about the price, but for the AMOUNT OF FOOD you receive, the price is well worth it. If you want to be cheap, go to the next street over (South Main). There would be no issues if they were somewhere like Atlanta or Texas. Don’t lowball; pay businesses what they are worth, or move around! By the way, my big back tail self bought two pieces of catfish (no, I did not eat both), copious scoops of mac and cheese, and green beans (I couldn’t eat because I was full of the fish and green beans), two pieces of cornbread (I ate half of one), a plate of hash and rice (that I was too full to eat) and a piece of strawberry shortcake ( couldn’t eat that either) lol and a sweet tea but I did TASTE these items which was $44 something. It ended up being $46 after tax and possibly a card fee, like every other restaurant! 10/10 definitely recommend and will visit again

Omgoodness these fried porkchops and ziti, mash potatoes and green beans were a big time hit at our rehearsal dinner! So glad I found L&W catering! Can I ask a question? Who’s grandmother, great auntie, or uncle back there throwing down? Cause baaaaaabbbbyyyy that food is outstandingly, hands down, the best soul food out there. Oh yes it’s the truth! If you do cooking lessons, I’m there. If you selling cookbooks, I’m there. If not, please just keep selling that delicious food and I’m there. New customer for life! My family had the hot dogs, Mac and cheese, cabbages, BBQ wings, fried chicken wings and EVERYTHING was so delicious. Who knew cabbages could taste so good. My husband don’t eat cabbages but he tasted them for the first time and he said he could eat those cause they were delicious. The sweet tea, oh yes, the truth. I can’t wait to try other things on your menu next visit. Definitely will return!!!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!! Their food is amazing and their prices aren’t bad at all!! The staff is super friendly! They always make sure my food is right not to mention they are really quick on having your food ready!! This has become my favorite place to eat in greenwood! I have tried their ribs, fried pork chops and their smoked Italian chicken and they are all delicious! their Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy are awesome as well!! and let me tell you their sweet tea is perfect!! I am so glad I found this place and will definitely help get the word out for them!!!

I’ve been trying to get here for almost a week since I first came across the restaurant on Google, and I finally made it today. Well worth the wait. The chicken, was cooked and seasoned to perfection and so moist. The broccoli casserole, is the best hands down that I’ve ever had from any restaurant, tastes just like my aunties. I’ll be back tomorrow for dinner for my fam ! So glad I found this place, you definitely have a regular customer here! The best to go food I’ve ever had. Not to mention you definitely get what you pay for serving size.
