Went in at about 3:30. The place was clean & empty at this time. I ordered the crab wontons, pad thai noodles, & spicy coconut curry chicken. They serve homemade sweet soy sauce too. Everything tasted good. Happy with everything.

We ate early and the food was like it had been sitting. The noodles are good. They got the service down. The restaurant is very nice. It’s split. They do have coke products. Tea is okay. If they work on the freshness of the food. It would be amazing. Kinda pricey. I don’t mind paying for fresh made food. It a clean restaurant. They are very accommodating too. I dont know if its just over done or sitting on a too high heat. I will try again in a couple of months, because of the service.

My family and I just had some great food at Fuzion Express II in Flint, Tx!!!

Thanks to a great recommendation, we decided to hop in the car and make the short drive out. It was more than worth it.

I had a chance to speak with the owner of the place. He informed me that he used to be the head chef of Julian’s for 12 years and that some of the recipes were carried over. That definitely excited me, seeing as I loved their chicken fried rice.

We ordered 2 appetizers (the potstickers and the crab wontons). Both were equally flavorful and had a great texture. I especially liked the sauce for the potstickers.

For our main dishes, we ordered the chicken fried rice (full order with no veggies for me), orange peel chicken, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. 2 orders got fried rice and 1 got noodles.

We all really enjoyed our food and we didn’t have a single complaint. The food was hot, full of flavor, and the portion size seemed fair for the price. The service was also really good.

I highly recommend making the short drive out to Fuzion Express II if you haven’t already.

Ordered take out. First time we’ve tried Fusion Lake Palestine. Sad to say it’s our first and last visit. Picked up food within 10 minutes of ordering and it was packed nicely and the guy at the drive thru window was nice. These are the only positives I can leave. We ordered Mongolian Beef. It was dry as a bone and tough as boot leather. Same for the beef with broccoli. Shrimp fried rice definitely had to be made several days ago. It was dry, bland and the shrimp was small, dry and kind of chewy. Egg rolls were decent but they’re probably frozen, not made in house. Thank goodness I asked for sweet and sour/duck sauce because most of this was barely edible without dousing everything with sauce. This lunch was $50 which is about average for this size meal. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a different restaurant.

UPDATE 12/2025): I have been here several times since my initial review. I love the eggrollls (I even bought some for my Christmas Eve). But my last entree, eating at the facility, was barely lukewarm. I was very disappointed. I did not say anything, but it was pretty busy and I decided I didn’t want to wait. I will give them another chance, as flavors are good. But I prefer the temp of my food hot and steamy.

Very nice little restaurant. My food was cooked to order, and hot and delicious. All sauces are homemade, per the owner. Egg rolls and springrolls are homemade (never frozen) and cooked to order. Delicious homemade sweet and sour sauce on request, and homemade soy dipping sauce. People are really nice and will make rhe dishes how you want… spice up the food, etc. I find no faults at all. It’s nice to have an Asian fusion restaurant so close, in Flint, on 155, because I’ve found other Asian food in the area sparce and lacking in any real flavor. Check out their menu on the website.

I had high hopes for this place. Being it’s second location and FINALLY had a chinese place in town. But the food was bland, and portions were small, especially for the price. The lettuce wraps came on 4 small remain lettuce leaves. The chicken was overcooked. I was really disappointed. I honestly can make everything they do but twice as good and for a fraction of the price. Oh, not to mention they do not have kids’ portions or plates. I asked the waitress, and she said they do, but I was charged 12 bucks for my 3 yr olds plate of over cooked chicken and what was supposed to be white rice and broccoli…. Update… I was asked to come back and try again. I still was not impressed. The lettuce wrap tasted like the meat was rotten, and the portions were still ridiculously small for the price. I will say the pot stickers had a good flavor. The Mongolian beef had good flavor but was overcooked. The honey shrimp had a decent flavor but tasted like they used the small frozen shrimp as well as had a different taste that wasn’t honey.

We had the best experience at Fuzion this week. Open now in their new location and loved it. Evana took great care of us, the food was fresh, and the atmosphere was spacious and relaxing. I ordered the sesame chicken with brown rice, and it was fabulous. My husband ordered the mongolian beef and had it made spicy. We both really enjoyed the experience and love its a family owned local resteraunt. We’ll be making this place a regular lunch stop.

The service was exceptional. Atmosphere was peaceful. The flavor was good just lacked the fullness it deserves. Food was tender. We had beef, shrimp and calamari(very tender yum). I did ask for their spiciest dish and make it extra spicy but unfortunately it came out on the very mild side. Worth the visit.
