Food was amazing! My favorite dish was probably the lambchops but I also really liked the chat service. Would definitely come back for the buttered chicken service. Cocktails were also very good. I especially liked the Raita yogurt cocktail.

Tried the goat biryani and bhatti da murg. The chicken was decent, but definitely not the best. The goat biryani, however, was extremely disappointing, nowhere close to what a proper biryani should be. Aside from goat pieces and the fried onions on top, everything else missed the mark. The rice wasn’t fully cooked, and you could even see leftover moisture, which ruined the dish.
The food feels more focused on presentation than authentic taste. Overall, mediocre at best and definitely not worth the high prices. No one would mind paying more if the flavors justified it, but that’s not the case here.
Service was just okay, nothing special. There are far better restaurants serving authentic food at better value. I honestly should have trusted the low star reviews before deciding to try this place.

Friend and I walked in without a reservation and got lucky they had a couple seats at the bar. Food was delicious, though we wish the server would have told us the spice levels as the pork rice and the chicken fish we had were crazy spicy. We loved the mushroom dish though. Plating was superb and cool atmosphere. Recommend if you love spicy, Northern Indian food!

Butter chicken experience was cool! It is a lot of heavy food so very filling. It also comes with unlimited paratha, rice and black dal.
Someone came around with the chaat options available, we tried both. One aloo chaat and one Chana chaat thing. Aloo chaat had kurkure on top and it was really good. The Chana one was basically just dry mixture.
The aam sutra cocktail was amazing. Raita cocktail wasn’t great. Lamb parcha app was actually my favorite. Really tender and flavorful. The tiger prawn was huge but ok. We picked the chili butter as the main butter type for butter chicken experience and you can choose a second butter for yourself. I didn’t like the tomato pickly butter I picked for myself, the fenugreek butter was best and had the more traditional taste

Yes!! I think I like it!! I made it to ADDA last night here in NYC and they introduce you to Indian food like you’ve never had before!! My main dish was the Chef’s Special with Indian spiced, half pound lamb chops cooked on the grill served on a curry made with coconut, curry leaves and saffron! Flaky roti on the side to mop up all that luscious gravy!! I started off with the Kaddu Boorani, roasted carnival squash on a bed of butternut squash purée topped with shaved butternut, pumpkin yogurt and a seed chili crunch!! Next was their Curry Leaf Crab, Jonah crab in a curry leaf-green chile emulsion and garlic cream!! Served from the shell!! As you dine you get a visit (or two) from their Indian pickle cart where they serve you a trio of house made pickles, vegetable, mango and green chili, served with pappadoms! I also enjoyed their Ananas Paneer Tikka, house made paneer cheese spiced and grilled with pineapple and red bell peppers served with a mint chutney! During my dinner I also enjoyed their Trio of Chutneys and Tipples, three mini poppadoms topped with a chutney to be eaten alongside your tipple! Tamarind was served alongside a tipple with dark rum, curry leaf aperitif, ginger, fennel; Mango was served alongside a tipple with serrano tequila, mezcal, pasilla chile liqueur, methi; Onion was served alongside a tipple with dry gin, whey eau de vie, sherry, onion brine, jeera! My cocktail was their SAMURAI’S PATIALA made with Japanese whisky, cognac, cardamom, saffron! For dessert it was Kheer Komola, a traditional Bengali orange milk pudding, as well as Kulfi, Indian ice cream that they then dip into a chocolate of your choice…..strawberry, chocolate or lemon white chocolate….I chose the latter! I can’t wait to get back and try other dishes as they all sound amazing!

Truly an amazing restaurant. The food was amazing, and our waitress (Puja, we think) was fantastic. She explained the menu, offered great suggestions and answered all our questions. The paneer tikka was phenomenal and I will be thinking about the sour berries for days.

Incredible experience at Adda. Food was flavorful and exciting, environment was fun, service was spot on.
We had the BHATTI KUMBH (mushroom skewer), lamb chops, MALAWANI MACCHI (fish curry) and PANEER KHURCHAN (paneer curry). Each one was a standout dish and highly recommend. The spice levels were great, each curry is made in its own pot which comes out to table sizzling. There were so many things we wanted to try – the biryani, dal, etc – we will absolutely be back.
A special thank you Desiree for making us feel at home – you’ve made Adda a magical place

Genuinely one of the best restaurant experiences of my life. We got the Butter Chicken Experience, which they only do for 5 tables a night. A table side customized experience done by the chef himself, explained everything in great detail. It was seriously fun and obviously the best butter chicken of my life.
We also got the lamb chop which was exquisite, tender, and so so flavorful. The desert was a cake with ice cream on top that tasted like a sticky toffee pudding but maybe 10x better?
Anytime I’m able to snag a Butter Chicken Experience rezy I will, a 10/10 experience.

Adda was the best meal I’ve had in New York in a long time. We had the stewed lamb, the chicken kofta, the paneer, the bheja, the prawn, the chaat, as well as a couple drinks.
Everything was truly, without exception, amazing. The paneer was definitely the best I’ve ever had – it was clear it was made in-house. The prawn was delicious as well. Truly there were no misses whatsoever.
I definitely plan on returning, huge fan!

I understand why this place gets so much hype! We didn’t do the butter chicken experience, just usual dinner and it was fantastic. The appetizers (veg and non-veg) are the stars of the show in my opinion. the best bites of our meal were the Lamb Chop, Lamb Parcha, mushrooms, and dal! The staff and service was incredible, so welcoming and the ambiance and music were lovely! Highly recommend coming with a group 4-6 to try the most food!
