For those who might be a little timid to walk into this dusty door, don’t be afraid, the locals already know this is a friendly place, on our visit there were kids running around the stage. Fun little dive with good drinks. We didn’t eat on this visit but will next time. There were several tables of families there that appear to be there frequently.

The best waffle fries and burgers! Nice atmosphere and great selection of drinks. The prices are very good compared to others in town. Gonna have to make it a weekly spot

A quiet taco Tuesday, before trivia.
Decided to try the tacos. EXCELLENT!!
Talked to the cook about them and he loved talking about the food… we said how good they were and he came back, “life-changing, right?!”
We
We will be back.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Amazing service! Amazing food! Bring your appetite…burgers are gigantic! Can’t say enough good things. House made tartar sauce, fry sauce, and dressings. Bottomless hand cut fries, too! Plenty of drinks to wet your whistle! Great spot in historic downtown Chehalis.
Update – Stopped in for our second lunch here, and were just as pleased as the first time. Great staff, great food, and a great atmosphere. French Dip was excellent, and the fishwich is also amazing!

So we wanted To try somewhere we hadn’t been before. Upon walking in, we realized it was a little bit more of a dark, bar setting. There was a band getting ready to play and setting up. But we thought we’d give it a try because the reviews were pretty good. My husband ordered a steak, and I had a salad and fries.
The steak came out with grilled onions and mushrooms on it and was cooked to perfection. My husband absolutely loved it, and was very pleasantly surprised. It’s not a steakhouse or a place that you’d expect to get such a great steak, but it was amazing.

Came in during Seahawks game and they were busy, all spots and tables full except a couple at the bar. Took about 35 mins to get a drink which wasn’t bad since there was only one bartender. Ended up just ordering a couple apps (hand cut frys and Mac n cheese bites) which to our surprise were good. Overall not a great or terrible experience, might have to try again.

Great food, and drinks. Surprised at how many great beers they had on tap. Drink was amazing and food was fantastic, as usual! I read lots of reviews where people seemed surprised about the loud music and bar atmosphere. Make no mistake…this is a BAR! But if you love Rock and Roll, good whiskey and tasty burgers, this is your spot!! Lots of events and great food specials makes this our favorite neighborhood bar! Gotta shout out their chicken fried steak too. I’m Southern and they have the only acceptable CFS I’ve found in WA.

The service here was bizarrely bad. Didn’t get to try the food. Beer taps were broken. They gave me a canned beer, which was fine except for that he made a big deal about there only being 2 left, acted like I was lucky to get it.
I took it to a table and read the menu, decided what to order, and waited… bartender walked by me over and over with no eye contact. Vibes felt like it would be rude to ask to order food. The chef then seemed to get off work and switch to customer mode, so I figured maybe the kitchen was closing and they thought I knew the drill? (6:45pm on Friday)
Put down cash for the beer and left. Went to my normal bar near home.

Fun bar, quirky crowd, Saturday Night Karaoke with Wednezday was super fun! Uses Karafun so it was easy to know what songs they had. Bartender was fun and super attentive, just passing through this town but coming back for sure! There was a poster for Goth Line-dancing? I gotta see this

Our party of 3 specifically drove to Mcfilers to shoot some pool on a slow Monday night. It was a little confusing to locate and once we found parking and went in, we turned around and left. The pictures from a Google search show at least 2 or possibly 3 pool tables. Unfortunately they have removed the billiards tables from their establishment but haven’t updated that fact on their website or any of their social media profiles. We ended up walking to a nearby bar that had a pool table. Not much I can say about the food, service, or the vibe. If you’re heading there to play pool, McFiler’s is not the place to play.
