We were so excited to try this restaurant looking for a great Mexican experience in Kearney. What we left with was utter disappointment. We both ordered a burrito, my boyfriend the smothered and I ordered a steak burrito for a $2 up charge. When our food came out, my burrito was literally an uncooked flour tortilla with an extremely small portion of greasy meat they call “steak” – which I cannot believe that was steak. I asked the waitress what kind of steak it was and she did not know. All I could think of was dog meat. It was extremely greasy and just gross. The waitress was very kind and apologized profusely and said she would tell the manager and they would take a “percentage” off the bill – after I handed it back telling her it was inedible, which it was. I only took a small bite and sent it back. The “percentage” off they gave us was a whopping 10%, $3 off our bill. I literally felt like that restaurant just stole $13 out of my pocket unapologetically. We eat out regularly and I NEVER send food back …. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend to anyone NOT to go to this restaurant if you are looking for even a decent Mexican meal. My boyfriend ate his only because he was so hungry and we were so looking forward to some good Mexican food.

Taco potato & quesadilla with steak are what we ordered. Both were even better than the menu described. We showed up a little before closing time, and the waitress and kitchen were more than happy to take care of us.
We definitely will come back, freshly prepared food ( not fresh out of the freezer )
This gem of a restaurant didn’t show up on Google Maps, I’m guessing because it isn’t nestled among all the fast food s.it shows just off I-80.

Nice Mexican place that also serves American food. Menu was only front and back, and had limited options. Most recipes included beef, not many chicken options. They did have green margaritas for st Patrick’s day. Overall, not a very authentic Mexican restaurant, but it would be great to take kids to because of all the kid options and it is a very quiet environment with not many people. Very affordable food as well. Some dishes only cost $7. They also had 2 different kinds of salsas which was nice.

Steak Fajitas were good but there was not enough meat. The burrito was sloppy and also did not have much filling. The queso dip was lackluster… honestly tasted like it was taken from a jar. The food did come out fast though.

The food was disgusting ! I kept telling my fiancé gordan ramsey would call it slop ! Our waitress was great . But that food . The amount of grease that was in the food was diabolical!! 0/10 food

Customer Service is a 5. Food was pretty good. Chips and salsa served first with choice of medium or hot salsa. I ordered the enchilada platter, filling and delicious. Cozy interior and nice and cool. Many other things I would like to try on the menu. Including a taco salad lunch special.

Went for dinner. Had the beef enchilada platter. Came w/3 enchiladas period. No lettuce, garnish or beans & rice. Lots of meat, tasted ok Husband had a small barrado. He said it was good. Salsa pretty runny, just ok. I think 2 maybe 3 plates came w/ beans and rice. Very unusual to pay extra for beans & rice. Good service. Lots of ppl dining here so it must be good to them. ♀️

This was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. My husband and I stopped by on our way to Denver, hoping for good Mexican food. That is far from what we got. I had the Supreme Fries. The guacamole on them had a very off taste. Almost as if the onions were past their prime. The fries were hard despite being smothered in what was supposed to be a spicy green chile sauce. I also had a soft taco. It was quite large and filled to the brim with toppings. The tomatoes however were soggy; the tortilla hard, and very cold. My husband had the combination plate with a steak burrito, refried beans, rice, and added a soft taco for an additional $2. The steak in the burrito was minimal and had no flavor. The rice was cold and the beans a glob. The taco was smaller than mine but the result the same. At least the chips were good. The 2 salsas, not so much. We will definitely not return
