I really enjoy this restaurant, but the delivery experience is continually disappointing. The food itself is good, but they don’t do enough to ensure orders are properly secured for third-party delivery. My order arrived with items possibly compromised, and it’s because the bag and food containers weren’t fool-proofed before leaving the restaurant (i.e., stapling the bag shut or taping each food container). When customers rely on delivery, restaurants should make sure everything is sealed and protected. I ordered from this restaurant 4 times in the past 2 weeks, and only once was the bag was stapled.

I ordered the papou’s salad with gyros, the salad part itself was very good bit the gyros was ice cold and dry. This leads me to believe it was purchased or cut in advance and refrigerated, at a minimum ot should have been warmed.

I was visiting from out of town and stumbled on this place and decided to come because of my and my husband’s love of Greek food. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Portions are out of control, and everything was so fresh and good. Could not finish it all because there was enough to eat off our plates for three meals! No exaggeration. We ate at the high table facing the windows, and we had a great time people watching on a busy Friday night. Will definitely return when in the DC area. Can’t wait to devour my leftovers!

Hole in the wall store with some of the best Greek food ever. There is something about their soft but slightly crispy pita bread that hits the spot . Every Wednesday they have $5 gyro specials! I’m not the biggest fan of gyros but I would say this is one of my favorite gyro joints. Additionally their eggplant lasagna type dish with a side of green beans was pretty tasty as well. If you’re wanting their pita sampler is a great appetizer to split with friends. Their fries with feta cheese and sauce are so fresh and tasty. It’s a shame we don’t have on eon the West coast.

Probably one of the best place to get some gyros, especially on Wednesdays when the gyro are $6 each (only applies to the lamb gyro, not other options).
We’ve tried their other menu items ranging from fries to their baklavas and they’re all delicious. Basically you can’t really go wrong with this place and you’ll be satisfied with any entree you select.
