I had tried this place once before when they first opened and it was great! Went there once more and I regret it!! I was so disappointed and the food was horrible. Where do I start?? The atmosphere was lame, loud music that didn’t play continuously with random awkward pauses. We sat down to eat and the plates are those disposable dollar tree plates. It took 1hr 15mins waiting for our food, and it didn’t come all together. Each type of sushi came out separately so in total we waited about 1hr 40mins for everything to come out. They prioritize take out but while I was in there one of the customers who got a takeout order went back and was upset. She had gotten the wrong order and complained that she had ordered it a while earlier. As far as food the California roll had no avocado and they didn’t think it was important enough to tell us. You taste more oil from the sushi being fried than actual sushi taste. It seems like they fried the sushi in fish oil. Their steamed salmon was fried, NOT steamed. There was more rice than fish so it was like eating rice fried in oil. I would not go back there again and would not recommend it to anyone. Grocery store sushi is 10 times better than this place. Waitress was very apologetic, we let her know she didn’t do anything wrong.

Sadly, our experience here wasn’t good. After eating at Sampa Sushi, we both had stomach aches throughout the night. It was very disappointing and concerning. I hope it was just an off day and that they improve their food handling.

Horrible service, we were the first to arrive at the store and place our order, but we were the last to have the order delivered, we waited more than an hour, and when the order arrived a lot of things were missing, we went to ask for a refund and they didn’t refund us

Small intimate space but doable for a date. All portuguese staff but easy to communicate. Utilize all the sauce on the counter, it does enhance the taste. Payment is up at the register, towards the back after you complete the meal. In need of better music/ background noise, but overall a great date night!

terrible service, we paid for something that was never served to us, if there is no structure, just don’t accept any more customers, besides that I went to complain and they said we have to wait for it to improve, but if there is no structure, don’t serve or open to the public
