Okay so I never write a review but I have to with this restaurant. The food is really not good. I got Pappy’s Big Hog with two sides(Chicken Brisket and Turkey). The portions are so small for the price you’re paying for. The meat was very chewy and the baked beans are so bad here, the Mac & Cheese was average. I also got a sliced brisket sandwich, it tasted alright but it was so small for the price. The customer service was great super friendly, but the food is really not good. I recommend not going here.

We were going to have a big group of family and friends coming down to meet somewhere to eat.So me and my Mother were thinking about coming here to Pappy’s.I’m glad what happened when we came in there to talk to them about all of us eating there happened before we even asked them about it.Me and my Mother walked in and she asked where the restroom was.The lady at the front showed her.I stayed up front looking up at there menu. Then I get a call from my brother.Slo I step outside to use the phone.well i guess the lady at the front thought we weren’t eating there now.And that we just came in so my Mom could use there Restroom. So right as my Mom comes out of the Restroom the lady at the front says in a mean tone of voice. In front of all the customers.”I didn’t know you guys weren’t ordering food! The Restrooms are for paying customers only! And that’s the only reason I let you use it!My Mom was embarrassed. My Mother had Cancer and is no longer here anymore. She walks outside and I get off the phone asked her if she was ready to go back in and talk to them about making a reservation for all of us to go eat there. My Mom says,”don’t bother! That girl at the front was real rude!Saying the only reason she let me use the Restroom was because she thought we were eating there!I guess she thought we were leaving. Because you walked out on your phone. And then my Mom said,” guess what? Now we actually are!.That rude girl at the front needs to be fired! But we’re glad we didn’t eat there at Poopy’s.And never will again! We went to Paul’s valley and ate Way,Way better Bar BBQ place! And they were so lind there aswell.Pappy’s Blows!!!I wish when it caught fire years back that the fire would of kept burning and finished the job and burned the whole damn place down!

Really good fresh flavorful food. Will definitely come back. I had the pulled chicken sandwich and pecan pie.
The BBQ sauce is perfect. Not sweet at all. The pecan pie is the right amount of sweetness and the crust was just right.

I got a two meat combo sliced brisket and turkey, I got literally three slices of what should have been brisket but taste like pot roast. Three slices of turkey a little container of green beans and a scoop of potato salad. The brisket tasted like pot roast wasn’t tender at all. The turkey was pretty good but there was only two slices definitely not what I expected for $14. I wouldn’t wast $14 dollars going there.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!! Our $54 worth of food was microwaved and not even hot. Horrible portions and awful flavor. Mac and cheese was runny and the pulled pork was horrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! I didn’t finish out of fear of getting foos poisoning. The McRib is better than this garbage.

The food is so mediocre, I could easily make it at home, but 5x better. Portion control is atrocious. This big cup is the drink, the 2 white cups are my sides. The pile of meat is probably 3/4 of what it was originally. Got another pile of pulled pork, which I already ate before I took the picture, but it was small too. The whole kit’ n caboodle cost me $21. Not worth it, not coming here again, I’m gonna recommend other people to not come here. I’d have paid $12, but not no $21. At least the service was good.

First of all, the food was good. The flavor was good. The staff was friendly.

That being said, I kinda splurged going here and the 2 meat meal was almost $17 after taxes. No drink was included. The food was just warm, Slightly above room temp. I was asked if I wanted peppers, I said yes, there were 2 pepper slices in the plastic cup. The portions were extremely disappointing. For $17, I would expect a bit more food and possibly a drink.

Again, food/taste was good, staff was nice, but lack of drink, food temp and no drink was disappointing for the price.

I guess I don’t get out much to realize inflation is this bad. Whelp, I got my BBQ craving over with and I’ll move on.

Very tasty BBQ. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was very moist and tender with a great smoky flavor that does not over power the meat. The menu includes the sandwich and a bag of potato chips while I was also offered a small cup of pickles or onions and a selection of sauces. The “hot” I selected was very mild over all with a subtle hint of spices in the background. Overall, a very good combo that compliments the meat well. For the price point I would have like to have seen a drink included, however, inflation has hit everyone and Pappy’s BBQ is no exception. The parking outside is not much to look at with a hand full of spot, inside you will find a number tables fit for parties 4 or more. Very friendly staff and a welcoming family friendly environment, if you are in the area I would recommend giving Pappy’s BBQ a try. They also have a drive through and items can be purchased by weight, for large crowds I would take this avenue. Great work Pappy’s!

Ordered 2 meat meal with a sweat tea. Just over $27.00 see pic.. the macaroni was like soup. Baked beans tasted they came straight out of a metal can. Brisquet tasted old and dry and the 1 rib lol yea it tasted like it looks . Very disappointed for the price vs not only the amount of food but quality ..

I thought I ordered a sliced brisket sandwich. There were some big chunks of fat and dried out and pieces. Unfortunately, that was the second time I’ve been disappointed with their food. Won’t go back now.
