Went here last week to get a bottle of wine. I decided on a Cotes-Du-Rhone which is one of my fav of late. I had only bought beer here before and my initial thought was, the wine is almost exclusively all upright in the store, with exception to a very small row in the very back of the store. I hesitated but decided to try it.
After talking with two of the store associates with bottle tucked under my arm, i felt better about the quality of this particular one.
As i went to uncork it, i could tell immediately the cork was beyond dry.. it was so brittle i could not remove it entirely.
My recommendation is visit a wine store that is conscious of proper storage.

I love this store 2/9/25 and drove here from Wilmington Delaware just to pick up Widow Jane Decadence however I left spending over $550 like I’ve done before. They carry Dolce for $73. They had Lynch Bages Bordeaux for $140. The selection is amazing and all the staff are professional and helpful. I can get pretty much what I wasn’t all in one place. They have a wine room for higher priced selection for optimal storage. Cold beer galore. I wish they had more dessert wine options however. It’s worth the trip and across from a gorgeous Wegmans. This is a free standing liquor store and not some after thought or small section in a big market!

The entire atmosphere of this store seems to be racist. First. The outside wine vendor that was serving samples did not acknowledge my presence when standing in front of her counter. Secondly, when I cashed out at the register, the associate asked me for my I. D. Even though I am at my late 60s with a very Gray beard. But he did not ask the customer ahead of me or behind me. I do appear to be racially mixed some people call me Hispanic. Some people call me middle Eastern. I am not going to specify what I am. Because that is irrelevant and should not be considered in the first place. What I will say is that some of my family have been on this continent for thousands of years.

I have only had one bad experience here, on a holiday weekend, several employees called out, and there was a very very long line and only one person at the register. But other than that unique incident, I’ve been very satisfied shopping at Wegmans.
Selection is pretty good, prices are better than most places in the area.

Great store for some high-end things. The produce is always fresh, and there is a very good cheese selection from around the country and from around the world. The prices are a little higher, but Wegmans pays decent wages to employees and offers some benefits to them. The seafood and meat section is quite good, with even a dry-age beef offering. All in all, and really fun store to wonder and pick up something nice.
