Food is never consistent. I like the string bean chicken, and they rarely have it available because they are always out of string beans. A lot of times, the food is barely warm at best. It’s never hot and fresh. The self-serve drink area is always a disaster with soda all over the counter. The staff doesn’t seem to care about cleanliness or the customer. Patrons are often ignored until someone feels like taking your order. Staff members often walk around behind the counter, and don’t even acknowledge your presence. Not a great dining experience for the quality and cost.

Unfortunately I have to edit:
Today was the third day for this issue: went to fix my Mom’s plate and this was all:

BEEF and broccoli: 2 small bits(not even a bite) and almost 1/2 head of broccoli in hugh pieces that require a knife to cut(almost raw)

4 pieces of chicken for Kung Pao

Very small serving size of Beijing beef

Plenty of noodles

Tried call about this, no answer

Never has string bean chicken available. Not sure if they’re not doing inventory or ordering correctly or what the issue is.. as someone with dietary restrictions this is one of the only items I can have and actually enjoy, so imagine my disappointment after driving 40 minutes to the store and leaving empty handed. Workers apologize and ask if I want something else but I really don’t. If it shows on the menu it should always be available. I wouldn’t care to wait but they say they don’t have ingredients to make it.

Saturday between 4-5pm, not busy. Can I get a discount if I have to bus my table? I opted to walk around until I found that was clean.

During this hour, multiple employees walked passed a very messy drink station and none of them bothered to wipe it clean or any of the tables and chairs. When I say messy, putting a tray down to serve yourself left stickiness under tray. Not good.

Not the best impression for a place that should be better. Probably won’t be coming again. Sorry.

I get lunch can be super busy but the treatment from the staff was awful. My mom placed a mobile order for us to pick up. Per app instructions when we arrive we are to let staff know that we have a mobile order to pickup however when I approached the register I was ignored by the employee working by the register. This staff member was standing at the register on his phone. The app also stated that the order should have been ready at 12:30 however it was not. We stood in line to let them know about our order just to be told it hadn’t been started on yet. There were also 2 customers that had their orders messed up. The order was with the store for over an hour before I had even arrived to the store.

I can’t even express how absolutely disappointed I am with how the Panda Express in Johnson City, TN treated me and my child. They absolutely acted like we didn’t matter and they hated being there. They purposely ignored us to the point of taking other customers before us. I immediately uninstalled the app and asked for my money back. The employees don’t care about customer service and they certainly don’t care if they lost two customers. Their not losing any money, but the company is and maybe they will care about this review. A word of advice to the owners of this branch, teach your employees some manners. I’m sure we’re not the only two that have had issues with the staffs attitudes. Shame on you all for treating a differently abled child like that!!!

For the most part I enjoy eating here. Its not perfect ive gotten some over cooked noodles and the orange chicken is delicious even if it gets little over done and little chewy. Beijing Beef is consistently a good dish here tho. The best part tho is its ready they just box it up so you wont wait that long. Overall not bad tho.

THIS WAS THE WORST TASTING FOOD THAT WE HAVE EVER HAD AT PANDA EXPRESS. We came in this location on Thursday, 2/19/2026 at around 5:20 PM, there were no customers in the store. There were no String Bean Chicken Breast, Mushroom Chicken or Beijing Beef and the employee rudely said, we just don’t have any more. The tables and floor had food on them, and the trash cans were spilling in the floor, no forks at the drink counter. Drinks spilled all over the drink counter. I asked an employee to clean a table; he seemed to be offended and only wiped off the top of the booth and left all the food scraps on the benches. I asked another employee if she could wipe off the benches and she did. (The famous excuse for a restaurant to not be clean is we got busy and didn’t have time to clean)
Again, the taste of the food was disgusting, and we were disappointed to waste $44.35!
We will not return to this Panda Express and do not recommend it to others! VERY NASTY PANDA EXPRESS AND THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE!

I ordered two plates to go on 11/19/25, and unfortunately the quality was disappointing. The rice and teriyaki chicken tasted as if they had been prepared the day before. This was especially frustrating because I was on a 30-minute lunch break and didn’t have the ability to return and request a properly prepared meal. For the price paid, I expected fresh food, and I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously to ensure better quality moving forward

Came through the drive thru at 9:42 on a Sunday.. Automatic message said they were closed, checked the website and they close at 10.. I said “Hello?” and they took my order.. only had enough orange chicken for half a portion and were out of everything else besides a spoonful of string bean chicken (turned out to be 2 pieces of chicken and all green beans), they apologized for being out of foam containers but gave me one of the bowls and a tiny little cube box for a full double portion meal. This is piss poor of any major chain. I’ve let a lot slide from this store over the years because I like the food normally, but I will not be back. Things like this is why people would rather not eat overpriced fast food. I will be calling their corporate tomorrow. I am glad they are not part of our Chamber of Commerce or I would have some strong words for their GM at our next group meeting
