My husband and I checked out this place tonight for a date night and it was AMAZING! A small little hidden gem here in Sullivan county! Had the best nachos I’ve ever had along with music to enjoy. They had some performers come in to do an open mic here and it was just such a lovely experience! The staff were so attentive and beyond kind. 10000/10 recommend!

Such lovely servers and hostess at this place! Our waitress, Erica, knew the menu very well and was super friendly. Food is excellent. We had the grain bowl, the grain bowl special and the crème brûlée cheesecake for dessert. Awesome drinks, too! Great value. We will definitely be back

One of the few places that the outdoors are as pretty and comfy as the inside. Beautiful Adirondack chairs next to big belly fireplaces offer a beautiful place to enjoy a drink before dinner or a coffee afterwards. Seating on the covered front patio is laid back and cozy. Inside is a chic modern space with an open kitchen where the chef himself welcomed us. Everything we had was exceptional. The Bison Burger, Grain Bowl, Fried Chicken Sandwich all delicious. We enjoyed coffee and desset and never felt rushed. I would most definitely go back. We loved it.

Tango Cafe is truly a hidden gem! With its cozy and inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for a laid-back evening with friends or family. I’m especially looking forward to enjoying their outdoor seating once the weather warms up.
The menu is wonderfully diverse, offering something for everyone—including a thoughtful kids’ menu. The food is reasonably priced, and the flavors are consistently impressive. If you go, don’t miss the Slider Trio—it’s a standout. Cocktail enthusiasts will also be delighted; the “Dammit’ Janet” is an absolute must-try!
The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely enhance the overall experience. To top it all off, the live music infuses the space with a vibrant, energetic vibe. For great food, expertly crafted drinks, and a welcoming ambiance, I can’t recommend Tango Cafe enough!

My family (of 3) were excited! We had never been to Hurleyville before and we had tickets to see a performance at the Performing Arts Centre. We had 45 minutes until showtime, so we thought we had plenty enough time to get a drink and perhaps a bite at Tango – the restaurant that was located right next door that was pretty quiet when we arrived. We waited 10 minutes at the table before it was cleaned and our order was taken. While we patiently waited we saw food and drinks going to a party of 4 that was seated well after us. We waited and waited but after a while we started getting nervous because the food hadn’t come and we were worried about missing our performance. My wife went inside to see what was taking so long. After waiting 30 minutes for our food to arrive, it finally did but we only had only 5 minutes to eat it. After a few bites (all we had time for)we realized it wasn’t worth the wait. My “Golden” sesame noodles were dripping in oil and my son’s “California” veggie burger was nothing more than a pre-packaged “Dr. Praeger’s” burger (the worse of the worse when it comes to veggie burgers) and his fries were stale. All the manager could say was that our order took a long time because we didn’t tell our waitress that we had a performance to attend to. Say what? What difference does that make? Does that mean you can slack off and/or give preferential treatment to others? We asked for to-go containers and our check. We also asked for at least partial compensation (drinks?) but the manager refused . All we were left with was the fun of taking smelly take-out containers with us into a small, crowded auditorium. It maytake 2 (or 4) to Tango BUT NEVER this 3 again!
* by the way, the only way I could eat the leftover noodles is by frying them (to burn off some of the oil) and adding vegetables (other than the included mushy zucchini) and tofu. I am afraid they will never be great but at least I won’t be wasting food.
