It’s a seat yourself seating. It took a while for the waiter to see us but once we got service, everything was good! The walleye was great and I had it as a salad instead of sandwich. Very tasty! Also had the wings. Huge wings and lots of meat. Good flavor.

Beautiful restaurant. Dining area feels hidden from the bar, which could be good or bad. The food was fine but not spectacular. Menu was a little all over the place and half of it was blacked out.

Great space, attentive staff, was expecting better food. The burger was good, but the fries were cold and limp. The boneless wings were juicy but the presentation lacked concern. There was an overdone fry stuck to one nugget, and the Parmesan garlic sauce was average. The space was lovely and the arcade was a fun stop.

What a great space with excellent food. The walleye fingers were so delicious . The tartar sauce was one of the best I have ever had!
A good selection of tap beers

Dont order online. Ive had rancid chicken in a salad, Nachos with half the portion size and covered in BBQ sauce for some reason. Missing items….and so on. Usually a good sit down experience though.

This place has drastically improved since first opening. I am glad that I came back a 3rd time. The gouda pickles were phenomenal. The mango shrimp tacos were also excellent. The patty melt was delicious and the beer cheese soup was some of the best I have ever had. Food came out hot and the staff was great. Will definitely be back soon

I ordered from Brew Hall off of Door Dash, and the food got to us rather quickly which set off alarm bells for me. When it got here the burgers and fries were ice cold, and completely overcooked. The beer battered cheese curds were also overcooked, so much so that it was just breading, all the cheese had melted off into the fryer oil or something. And the breading was stuck together in one piece. Even the raspberry lemonade was bad, somehow too sweet? And although my Shirley Temple was the only tasty thing in the entire order, it still lacked even one maraschino cherry… And Door Dash only gave me a $15 refund on this completely inedible $62 order. DO NOT order from here, it’s a complete waste of money.

Very cool spot for a town of this size.

Atmosphere in the redeveloped 100 yr old City Hall building is trendy yet welcoming. Service staff was great. Friendly, knowledgeable and not overbearing.

We snagged a couple apps (dry rub wings and gouda pickle wraps) that were great.

My old fashioned was one of the best I’ve had outside a major metro.

Brisket sandwich was good, maybe a little light on meat/heavy on bread…and I’d recommend serving the horseradish sauce on the side along with the au jus. Sandwich was really good, but could be great!

Steak salad was decent. Cut of beef was a little grissley…which took away from the enjoyment of an otherwise delicious salad.

All in all, great spot with an eclectic and inspired menu. We will be back again to mix it up!

I really liked this place. I love that they converted the old city hall into an entertainment venue. We arrived on a Monday in between the lunch rush and any early dinner crowd, and it was the two of us and one other couple. I was surprised there weren’t more people; this place seems like it would be a good draw.

Food was really good, and there was a nice selection of regional beers. We lingered a while, enjoying the afternoon.

As a Wahpeton area wedding photographer (Two Birds Photography), City Brew Hall is one of my FAVORITE places to shoot a wedding! The staff is amazing and helpful, and the location is so stunning. I can’t think of a similar venue within hours of this one.

The food is fantastic and my boyfriend and I regularly drive from Fergus Falls to have a date night here because we love the food so much.
