My family and I have done to-go twice in the past month at this Dairy Queen and the service was phenomenal!
A sweet, lovely lady did it (I couldn’t catch her name, unfortunately, so I will just call her the pretty green-eyed brunette)!
She was sharp, punctual, and very friendly!!!
The food was given to us right away — exactly as we ordered it!!!
So definitely go and order some food while she still works there!!!

This location is absolutely disgusting. Pulled into the restaurant and noticed a worker standing, with headset on, next to a car with the door open smoking. Continued to pull around to the drive thru and the person on the intercom was the person smoking in the parking lot. I placed my order and the person was obviously stalling to get inside. Placed order and pulled forward. Handed the person at the window my card to pay, same person that was smoking, and noticed the person had NOT washed his hands. He handed back my card and walked around the corner. I hollered for the person to come back and I asked him if he was who was making our order. He replied yes. I replied, weren’t you smoking in the parking lot? He responded yes, however he had ran in and washed his hands. This was an obvious lie. I told him he was lying and asked for a refund. As he was trying to get the refund back on my card, I asked his name and he replied “Jeff”. “Jeff” obviously didn’t know what he was doing as he gave up trying to refund my payment back to my card and refunded me in cash. Once I pulled away, I looked at the receipt and the person’s name was in fact NOT “Jeff”, but Jay.
This place is disgusting. I used to frequent his location 2-3 times a week. I will NEVER be back and I will make sure to tell everyone I know exactly how disgusting this place is. Would give zero stars if I could.

The old lady manager said in Spanish she’s crazy as she stood outside on the patio near me! Then she kept saying is something wrong like she wanted to ruin my food! The hot fudge sundae looked smaller than usual! She said if you want more hot fudge, you have to pay for it!!! She banged on the bathroom door saying someone knocked over your bike! The manager knocked it over and I’m handicapped!!! Don’t waste your money here or they’ll treat you like garbage!!!

Possibly the worst drive thru experience I’ve ever had. Food took 15 minutes to come out, ice cream was melted when it came out. Food came out cold. Cheese isn’t even melted on the burgers. Saw the cook put food in the microwave. Modifications were completely wrong, I asked for no tomato, got tomato. My friend asked for no onion, got onion. Cheese curd box was half filled, got about 5 cheese curds, one of them were hollow; nothing but breading. Lettuce on burgers was exclusively the butt end of the lettuce. Meat on burgers was extremely dry. My Coke came lukewarm with about 3 ice cubes. Didn’t get my requested sauce. Overall extremely disappointing situation.

Went here to use a old gift card. I ask the employees to check out how much is left on this gift card because it has been a while since I used it. The employees refused and wanted me to spend $ 1st without knowing how much is left. Ended up going to the DQ location in Moore instead. And the Moore location told me I had $1.80 left on the gift card. Don’t go to the Norman location. They try to rip you off.

Let me start by saying I’ve been eating Blizzards and soft serve from DQ for YEARS, and it’s very much on a different level from their food, which I just tried for the first time. The burger patties were like eating rubber, lacking seasoning and flavor. The bun and toppings were ok, but the beef was not great. The fries were great, but they give you few of them so you don’t feel like you get your money’s worth. My milkshake was excellent. Service was OK. Restaurant appeared quite clean. I’ll go back for ice cream forever and ever, but the only food item I might get are the fries.

Pulled up to the drive through around 10:30 PM CST on 11/13/25. Everything was going as expected till we go to pay. We hand the girl Cash and card ( Normal behavior when someone wants you to pay with the cash and put the rest on card) She than proceeded to hand us our card and cash back and goes “it all went through on card.” This wouldn’t have been such a big deal after we explained what we meant to happen if she didn’t then run her mouth and go “You shoulda said that”. With a full blown attitude. If you didn’t know. Own up to it.

I ordered a number 1 and a number 7 off the menu with no substitutions with water. I usually order water since it will make the combo cheaper and then make no substitutions so it’ll come out faster, but not at this place. There is no discounted price for water, so we basically paid $4 for two plastic cups. Plus, we waited a long time, and watched 5-6 other people behind us get their food first.
I didn’t think our order was that complicated, and every other fast food place I’ve been to will just swap out the combo with a burger and fries if we are ordering water, or work with us in some way if there’s a cheaper way to get what we want.
The lone bright spot was that the food itself was actually really good. I just paid a LOT for what I actually got.

Stopped by drive thru to get one of my favorite treats.. medium chocolate brownie extreme blizzard. Got the cup…and thought that the brownie pieces were just further down in the cup… SURPRISE! There were no brownie pieces. Just a cup of chocolate ice cream with some hardshell pieces in it.
Will be a long time before I go there again. Over $6 for a dish of ice cream. For a couple of more $ I could have bought a half gallon at the grocery store.
