My husband and I went here for dinner last night and the food was amazing. The prices were very good especially for the quality of food. Customer service was delightful, especially services provide by our waitress Megan. The staff was very attentive and quickly became obvious staff was eager to ensure our dining experience was spectacular. Our night was finished off by a delicious homemade Chocolatecello. We are certain to return!

They say they can do gluten free but if you are actually allergic, stay away. I told my waiter three times that I was gluten free. What they brought me was gluten free ravioli and eggplant. Fortunately, a friend stopped me but I’d already eaten a quarter of it before they confirmed it was covered in a “little flour”. The owner was belligerent and tried to blame me for ordering something that had to be wheat covered-but they never told me that it was not safe. The best part was my telling the owner that I had to throw it up before I got very sick and he said, “The bathroom is right there.” Not recommended at all.

In response to the owners remarks: we had been reassured multiple times that this restaurant could feed me. I had no reason to assume that was false. Also, I did stop eating as soon as I asked about the food.

Eating gluten makes me bleed internally. I understand mistakes were made but however I made multiple attempts to avoid them and, ultimately, the blatant disregard and lack of understanding of the risk to my health was sufficient that I posted this. I stand by my recommendation.

Truly an excellent dining experience. I went this weekend with my girlfriend after reading the reviews online and seeing an article in the paper, and was not disappointed. The food was excellent, the portions were very generous, and the Chef (Giovanni) personally went around and met with each of the customers. I would recommend to anyone I know and will be going again very soon.

From the staff to the desert everything was top notch! The veal was so tender I was cutting it with a fork. The owner made his way around at least 4 times to make sure our experience was enjoyable. They really make you feel like family!!! Highly recommend this place!!!!

Our favorite restaurant in NW Philadelphia, Horsham. Lunch, dinner or special occasions the food is consistently good and true to Italian’s exacting standards. This is not American Italian. It is Italian fresh fish, seafood, veal or eggplant dishes with rich, savory sauces like vodka or cream. The pizzas and sandwiches are great too. Oven roasted veggies are a Vegan’s delight. The service is beyond friendly as they even offer to hold babies and always ask about family members. Would take the most discerning guests there. Love it. Delicious food.

Food was delicious and service was outstanding. The chef came out twice to check on us and the hostess was very accommodating to fit us in on a Friday night. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back!

I am not sure about your complaint! I personally visit every table. If you did not receive your salads why did you not mention this to the waitstaff or myself when I came to your table? If your food was not adequate why did you not mention it to the waitstaff or myself when I came to your table? We have good reviews for a reason, if you were unhappy please let us know we will do everything in our power to fix it. This is an unfair review, since you did not have the courtesy of stepping up like a man and saying something when you were here. If you would like to stop back I will try to make it right for you. Let’s be honest, who makes a reservation under the name of FREASH ONE? You obviously had an agenda before you came in the door.

Friday night, looking for a place for dinner on a busy night. Chain restaurant? NO WAY. Ambler? Too busy/hectic, with NO parking. Center City is awesome, but too far! Then I remembered going to Cibo with my wife, a friend and his girlfriend a few months ago. Good call! We were greeted at the door with a smile, seated promptly, and attended to almost immediately. Donna was our waitress. There was a nice crowd in the place, but not loud (which I appreciate). It’s a BYOB–LOVE THAT. We had the Meatball with Fresh Mozzarella as an appetizer (very good, but maybe could have been a little warmer). Salads come with entrees which is always nice. I had the Salmon Puttenesco (spelling? sorry!) which came with a side of fresh sautéed spinach. I have NO idea how they do the spinach, but it was SO good. (Lots of garlic. yum! Great flavor) The salmon was a really nice portion size; I’ll be having the other half for lunch tomorrow, and can’t wait. My date for the night (daughter) had a Shrimp & Scallops with Penne Pasta and Pink Cream Sauce (don’t recall the name of the dish) which she loved. She too has plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. John, the owner, was in the dining room a few times while we were there checking to make sure all of his customers were doing ok. (Are you kidding me? NOT many owners will do that. But, he struck me as someone who truly cares about whether his customers are happy with their meal and experience.)

Anyway, great food. Great value. Friendly service. Easy to get to and no- hassle parking. BYOB. Leftovers! We’ll be back. NICE JOB Cibo! Keep up the great work.

First time there for dinner….Veal saltimbocca was very good and the special of lobster/shrimp over linguine in a white wine sauce was nicely done. Rice ball appetizer was okay but to be fair I’m a little biased on these in general since nothing beats the ones I grew up on….but I keep trying other versions. Capaccino I wouldn’t get again as it was very bitter. Overall I’d definitely go back. Not easy to find good Italian food.
