Definitely wasn’t what I expected. I ordered gizzards and gravy, Mac and cheese, and broccoli and chesse casserole. Gizzards were good, Mac and cheese was dry and broccoli and cheese casserole didn’t have any broccoli in it. It looked like it was made with the knorr chicken flavored rice and it was a no no FOR ME.

Very good soul food! I ordered the cube steak and rice and macaroni and cabbage as my two sides. Also ordered a slice of key lime cake. Food portion was very generous, flavor was good, macaroni was really good and I judge places on their macaroni. Key lime cake was very good as well! I would suggest calling your food in before going by, we had never been here before so we ended up walking in and ordering and waited about 40 minutes before our food was ready, they are nice enough to bring it to your car. I will definitely be coming here again, I really want to try their Turkey wings!

Hidden Gem. Country soul food spot. Very affordable. Different veggie options although some are prepared with Meats for flavor there are a lot of options for vegetarians. There was an average crowd of a few sitting a few waiting for to go orders I didn’t have to wait long to place an order my food came out hot and fresh very tasty the portions are very large I have lots for leftovers. There’s a Grandma’s kitchen table kind of vibe to the restaurant.

I ordered from Nick’s Kitchen a couple years ago for my mom and I. It was very close to her home cooking and we both loved it! She has since passed away and I have missed her cooking so much. Yesterday while at work and looking for lunch on Doordash, I decided to order from Nick’s Kitchen again. The cube steak was tender, green beans flavorful, and the mac n cheese was perfection. It’s one of those meals that made me close my eyes and took me straight back to my momma’s kitchen!
