The food here tastes below average. The hashbrowns were not crisp and tasted bad, the steak was not seared and overcooked despite ordering med rare. She brought out a second steak and that one was so undercooked it was raw! It also had no seasoning and was not seared. The eggs were average. The bacon and sausage was good and pancakes were decent. My dear grandma didn’t like Anything she had. Idk what’s with this location but the only thing nice here was the waitress. No one was here and now I understand why… the food is horribly subpar.
I’ve been to countless breakfast restaurants before… this was the worst breakfast restaurant I’ve ever been to taste wise. Unless you plan on gambling, don’t bother coming here. And mind you I went to the steak and Egger close to Chicago’s downtown. That one got a five star from me. It’s crazy how one location tastes spectacularly good but this one tastes horrible.

Place is usually good. But today they just completely ignored my order? I order the same thing every time, and get well done hash browns. Today when I asked, the hash browns were so raw, they couldn’t be well done… They barely look done to begin with. 85% white maybe 15% brown if I’m being generous. Idk if there’s a new chef or if they didn’t hear me but I’m disappointed.

Not only is the food and service on point, the staff treats you like you’re family, as if they’ve been knowing you for years Where the heck do you get that at these days And as a truck driver, this place has more than enough room to accommodate several semi trucks. Not too often is semi parking available where hot homemade meals are being served ❤️

My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had — and we both ended up really sick afterward.
The food looked disgusting as soon as it came out. His biscuits and gravy had weird green specks in it, and we actually watched the cook pull an old styrofoam cup of gravy out of the microwave and dump it onto the plate with a spoon that had just been sitting on top of the microwave. The sausage patties were paper thin, dry, and tasted like plastic.
My food tasted okay at first, but my eggs were slightly watery and undercooked on the inside. The hot sauce was a bizarre neon green color, which was honestly unsettling.
Within a couple hours, both of us were stuck in the bathroom with terrible diarrhea and nausea for most of the day. The whole place just felt dirty and careless about food safety, and what we saw behind the counter confirmed it.
Definitely do not recommend eating here — for your health and your stomach.

Enjoyed the corner beef hash n egger plate with a side of bacon. Staff was courteous and attentive. Atmosphere was quaint and cozy. Food was delicious!!! Recommend the cream of broccoli soup on Sunday. A must visit! A+++

Changing my review I ordered over medium eggs on the 3, 3, 3 pancakes eggs and bacon. Received broken over easy then recieved a flat broken yolks hard slab of eggs. Inedible, terrible and gave me .70 9ff for not being able to eat half my breakfast. Very disappointed. Will NEVER go there again. Husband asked for no butter on his toast and he revived mounds of margarine. I dont usually give bad reviews u less it is really bad and this was. My pancakes were so dry they crumbled, I needed a spoon to scoop up the crumbs. I only took the picture of the eggs because the rest was just not worth it. Never again.
