Stopped here on a whim after doing the Saugatuck dune ride. The hot mocha latte was delicious. Not too sweet! The staff were very kind and genuine. Not to mention the courtyard outside is large and relaxing for enjoying your pastries or coffee. Very well decorated for the season. If you are thinking about trying this place out… do it!!

This is a pretty cool little coffee spot right off the highway. They have coffee, bikes for rental, and a breakfast taco truck outside; it’s a cool mix. I’ve had two lattes from here now, and both were excellent. It’s nice to support a local business even if it’s a bit out of the way for me. I’m not sure if the taco truck is related, but the breakfast tacos were a delicious addition to dropping by. I’ll definitely be back while the weather is nice.

Stopped in for a cinnamon roll, a muffin, some tea and coffee. Was delighted to find cinnamon apples on the bottom of the roll and the moistness of the raspberry muffin. Both were so delicious and complemented our coffee/tea nicely. We enjoyed it on the patio in the sweet 71 degree weather. The staff were so helpful and we loved the chill vibe of the place the had take home trats and goods, coffe and flowers from a local farm. Although we did not rent bikes – we did partake of the Austin style breakfast taco truck out front…so amazing!!! Will be back the next time we are in the area and have already passed along the place to others.

We rented e-bikes here and I would give them 10 stars if I could. I did not get the owner’s name, but she was incredibly friendly, kind, knowledgeable and just an all around delight. The bikes were incredibly fun, very well maintained, and had everything we needed for adventure: helmets, locks, baskets, and bottle holders. She went over everything on how to use the bikes before sending us off. The wealth of trails literally across the street made for scenic rides that felt safe and were so very fun! And while we did not get coffee or treats, they had a nice selection and a comfortable, spacious seating area. I would gladly rent from Blue Star Barns again and tell anyone to do the same. Thanks for helping us make some fun memories!

Found a coffee we love! We are Starbucks French Roast people and in many years have not found another coffee we like until now.
We also enjoyed awesome cinnamon rolls and bought a frozen full size chicken pot pie. It was all natural and delicious!
Regretting not getting the cherry or apple pie also.
Joe and Amy are warm and inviting. You see them in the pictures.
When traveling on I-196, this could be your refreshing stop. Not more than a mile off the interstate.

Outstanding service and super friendly too. Coffee shop opens early and has excellent coffee. Bike shop, frankly is amazing. Full service, technically competent. The bike rentals have a wide variety including very clean e-bikes.
The store and shop is right across the street from a paved bike trail, the Blue Star Trail which goes through Saugatuck and Douglas on the south (great ride!) and connects on the north to the Beeline Trail to Holland.
This place is perfectly located!

Wonderful cafe and bike shop! We had a nice ride to Holland and back, followed by delicious frozen lemonade, iced lavender latte, frozen oat milk latte, and delicious lunch from the food trucks! The owners are warm and friendly, highly recommend!
