We ate breakfast on Saturday. It was incredibly good. Service was great atmosphere is really warm and comfortable. The food was top notch. We had the steak and eggs. Highly recommended. It also had the lobster bisque. It was very good parking can be a little difficult. There is parking in the rear and on the street bon appétit

To be respectful this was NOT at all good … I don’t leave reviews ever but to pay soooo much? Carrots uncooked, None of the fish was done … broccoli still hard. Won’t be back. Sorry we did a to go but this is CRAZZY for the prices. Glazed carrots don’t swim in sauce or can’t be cut? They were RAW!!! I am so disappointed … Mind you this was $77! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Spent a 100 dollars tonight getting Taco Bell after. Appalling and I’m maddddd about it.

Our first visit to Bell House and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, service was attentive and the atmosphere was just right for datenight dinner. We started with the scallops. They were perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and delicious. We also had the blackberry and brie tartlets, they were very good. For dinner the 12oz ribeye was cooked just the way my husband wanted, said it was one of the best he’d ever had and perfectly seasoned. I had the special that evening which was tilapia. Delicious. My only complaint was the cheese sauce on the broccoli cheese was very runny. Dessert was a huge portion. Chocolate amaretto cake and apple cake, both made in house. Scrumptious. Will definitely be back, we’ll worth the drive from Frankfort.

I really enjoyed my visit to this Restaurant. The service and attention from the staff was exceptional! We had a large group and they have a couple of private rooms to accommodate big groups. My Rosemary Chicken was so delicious and I also loved the dessert, made in house by their Pastry Chef.

Lovely place to gather with a few friends for lunch. I had the hot brown and it was delicious. Several nice dessert options of which we tried (and shared) the pumpkin with cream cheese icing, the coconut creme pie and the dainty cheesecake…all were delicious too!

Bell House is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Shelbyville, KY. This day I had the rosemary chicken and it was fabulous. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. The staff is always kind, welcoming, and on top of things.
One thing to know: this place stays packed, even at lunch, so make reservations ahead of time. It’s a popular spot for a reason. My only small complaint is that it is a little cold inside so I always bring a jacket with me, but the food and service make it more than worth it.
If you’re looking for one of the best restaurants in Shelbyville, KY, Bell House is definitely at the top of the list. Highly recommend!

Great dining! Nice selection, fair enough prices. I deducted one star only because of the street parking. Chef was gracious enough to come out and chat with us! Servers were very nice and helpful. We were a large party of 12 and were served as quick and efficient as possible.

Tried to order the potato soup but wasn’t told they were out until my burger was brought out. Our waitress was struggling a bit with her job task. Not sure if she was new/training or what was going on. Other items in my order were left off had to repeatedly ask for them. Spilled refills on my phone laying on the table in front of an empty seat. The chicken sandwich was great though. Fried green tomatoes were also good. Not sure I’d make the 2 hour drive to return for another meal though.

We had great service and the food was delicious. Recommend the chicken salad, pimento cheese (grilled), fried green tomatoes and the tomato vinaigrette dressing. I loved that the dressing was made in house, it also had a little kick to it!
